Ok, I didn’t get any trade offers I wanted to pull the trigger on, so this sweet Mike Trout trap is now up For Sale! Excellent condition, still could use some breaking in, this trap has a deep pocket like all these traps do! It does have a little dirt stain on the MLB logo, but otherwise is very clean. $287.59 shipped CONUS.
Excellent condition, still could use some breaking in, this Mike Trout Trap has a deep pocket like all these Traps do! Up for trade for a similar high quality glove. Let me know what you’ve got - I’ll know it when I see it!
For Sale a sweet Mike Trout Trap, still needs a little break in work. Has a deep pocket just like all these traps do. Will let go for $267.50. Would consider trades.
These full quill ostrich boots from Republic Boot Co. have been worn only twice and they are beautiful and in excellent condition. They are a Size 10D, but take out the leather insole and they convert to 10EE (Republic explains that on their web site). If you have any questions, just let me know. I will let them go for $495 + shipping. Thanks for looking. Oh, great name on these boots too lol.
FOR TRADE…This very rare GOTM from October 2015 is special, and any trade possibilities need to likewise be special gloves, very high quality, etc. They should be in the realm of limited editions, special editions (like Rawlings Gold Glove line), exclusives, customs w/o personalized embroidery, or Made in Japans. Also need to be of similar condition to the EL3. At this point strongly prefer 11.75”-12.25” but may consider 12.5”+ if it’s just plain awesome. 11.5” is less likely but send it if you feel strongly about it. Let me know what you’ve got!
PS - the glove does have the GOTM mark embossed on it, but for some reason not all my pics would load onto the posting.
UPDATE: TRADED
Sweet Yardley catcher’s mitt. Barely used - one quick round of catch outside, couch catch and a coat of glove conditioner on the palm side of the mitt. Probably 55-65% broken in at this point, still more room to break it in. Let me know what you have - can’t be anything at the Rawlings R2G, Wilson A1000 level, etc. HOH+, A2000+, Marucci Cypress+, Mizuno Pro Select+, Emery, Buckler, Grace, Yardley. I might have missed some other brands! Prefer 12”-13” gloves, but if you’ve got an 11.5”-11.75” and you really want the mitt I’ll check and see what you’ve got to offer. Can be well-used, but still with good life left. Nothing that will require a complete overhaul of the glove. 8/3/26 UPDATE - GLOVE TRADED.
Not much out there on this outfit. Anyone familiar with their Zett Pro Model Elites? Pretty good prices on them, but if they are an R2G-level type of glove, I need to steer far away from them.
Not a lot out there on this brand - unlike Emery, Grace, even Jax. The few posts and comments that do exist seem to indicate these are quality gloves. They have some really nice looking models. Any thoughts here, especially regarding their Phalanx and Maestro series?
Have my eye on another Grace glove and must adhere to my (loose) rule - one glove in, one glove out! This is the Classic Series Grace 12.5” chocolate brown glove. I have just played couch catch with it, hasn’t seen the field once. You can break it in TIP or traditional. SOLD.
Does Emery ever communicate with the customer after a custom glove has been ordered? I have not received one update on my custom and it has been over a month. In my opinion, not cool…
Anyone have these boots? If so, good quality? I’m a straight up size 10D in most wide square boots that I own which are not Dan Post - if I go with Dan Post round toe like these should I size up to 10.5D? Some of my 10Ds in cutter and French toes feel a bit snug as well as a round toe pair I own.
Anyone know what the FightLyt material is that they’re using on the back of these gloves? Why didn’t they just use the Cordura material that seems to be their non-leather bread and butter? Is it similar to the Cordura, better or worse?
I am about to pull the trigger on a glove that I really don’t need - an Emery Custom Glove, probably the Japanese Kip. Can someone please advise me why I shouldn’t do this! Oh, and I’m thinking about going with a mint liner - any reason I shouldn’t go with a colored liner and instead go with tan?
UPDATE: The deed is done - thanks fellas….for walking me off the plank and into the deep waters of yet another unnecessary piece of fine leather!🤣
Anyone handle these closed back gloves yet? If so, thoughts?
