HTTPS Port Forwarding Problems

I just got a static ip for my toob service so that I can access docker containers on my raspberry pi while away from home (mainly for home assistant). The raspi has a static local ip and is hosting a docker container for nginx proxy manager. The NPM container is set up to use 8081 for http and 8443 for https:

    ports:
      # Public HTTP Port:
      - 8081:80
      # Public HTTPS Port:
      - 8443:443

I have set up 2 single port forward rules on the toob supplied linksys wifi 6 router to forward to the raspi local ip

  • 80 -> 8081
  • 443 -> 8443

If I browse to http://mystaticip I get the NPM welcome message, but if I browse to https://mystaticip it seems to direct me to a linksys dynamic login page (although no login box is shown, just a blank page with linksys EULA, TOS etc links).

I've tried disabling https local management access on the router just in case its something to do with that but no dice. It seems that for some reason the 443 port forward rule isn't being respected? Has anyone else ran into a similar problem?

Aftermarket GPU Cooler Options

I have an evga 3080 hybrid and I think the pump is failing, its making quite a bit of a rattling noise. It used to be that arctic made aftermarket coolers for GPUs but it seems those are now discontinued and never made it past the 10 series and I'm struggling to find any other solutions online except this cooler but I don't think it would fit https://ebay.us/m/8vv2iE

I want to keep the card going given the current pc component climate. Do I have any options for replacing the cooler or is my only option to run it into the ground and hope it lasts long enough for the market to recover a bit?

Octavia MK3.5 Wing Mirror Glass

The other day while working on the wing mirrors of my MK3.5 vrs I noticed that it seems that the drivers side wing mirror has been replaced at some point with the mirror from a MK3 (puddle lights is halogen whereas passenger side is LED, also mirror glass only has connectors for heating element, no white plastic connector).

I called up my local Skoda dealer to ask about prices for replacements. They quoted around £300 for a replacement wing mirror assembly (without cap and glass) which I thought was a bit expensive but hey it's main dealer. But then they quoted £400 for just the mirror glass?! What on earth is this glass made from? How on earth can the glass cost more than the entire wing mirror?
