I have a boss who's a terrible micromanager, and I get the impression that she's upset or annoyed by how much time I'm taking off. She set some strict rules around vacation time, such as not using them before major events that we organize. We just had our last major event of the year over the weekend, and now we have a bit of a lull over the summer, so I'm starting to put in my time off requests and using my time in lieu (extra hours worked elsewhere to take time off). I'm not using any more time than I'm entitled to, and I actually have a lot of vacation time left, but she's been very passive aggressive with me it seems, insinuating that she doesn't think I'll be able to get my work done with how much time I'm looking to take off. What do I do? She makes me feel so guilty for requesting my vacation time.
