And the FIFTH Installation Appointment ends in...yep no installation!

Well the FIFTH technician came today to install the Fiber, and once again, left without being able to do so. That's right, the FIFTH. Been receiving texts and emails all day from Spectrum repeating themselves saying welcome and click here to see your details, with the hours old appointment still listed at the bottom. Today I tried to call in to actually complain since the first couple of times it was somewhat humurous but at this point it's not funny anylonger. First person I got was in the States but said I was on the "cox" side although I specifically was given a new Spectrum 2 year deal, so she transferred me. The Cox rep was in another country fading in and out and I couldn't understand much of anything they said. If I wasn't retired I'd be very miffed about having to take time off from work to be here for no results over and over again. Is there anyone from Spectrum or Cox who actually follows this reddit that could reach out to me and let me know why the ESR ticket is still not completed? You guys might want to stop sending your salesmen out here to "sell" services since the entire street's fiber is dark. Scariest part of all of it is if you go check the network it says everything is "fine" here. Wow. Cheers everyone, I remain Fiberless in Fort White...

New to the Santa Fe out with the Genesis G90

So with not as much feeling of loss as I thought I might have, I traded in my Genesis G90 on this gorgeous 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy edition. A few reasons for that. The G90 is a 2020 and was out of warranty as I was the 2nd owner. An extended warranty for that vehicle is enormously expensive and it paid off already once. The Hyundai allows me to step up into the vehicle instead of struggling to get in and out of a low riding sedan as that G90 is. Getting older so it is what it is. Also as this was an unsold 2025 and the 2027's are already out I got it heavily discounted off of MSRP. With this I get all the new factory warranties and only had to finance a very small amount that I'll pay off quickly. Fun fact is that most of the things I loved about the G90 are also incorporated into the Santa Fe. In fact almost every single thing. She rides wonderful and I keep that yellow micro fiber on the center console to protect it against wear and the smaller white ones I use to keep the touch screens clear. Sorry for the crappy photos, but it started to rain and I needed to get it in the garage and get some work done as well. Excited to be here and see what everone else is doing / has done with their Santa Fe's. Cheers!!!

Looking for thoughts on trading 60k 2020 G90 for 2025 G70 2.5 Sport Prestige

I currently have a 2020 G90 5.0 Ultimate which is out of warranty as I bought it used. It's sitting at 59,976 miles. I just had the 60k service done. A platinum extended warranty from Fidelity which is what their service people say is the one they get no grief out of on claims is almost 300 a month for 5 years, 60,000 miles.

They have on the lot a 2025 G70 2.5T Sport Prestige that I could trade my G90 in for and pay 8k difference and drive home in it. It has about 2,200 miles on it. It was used as a go around vehicle for the dealership but has never been titled.

I'd be giving up the HUD which I have grown very fond of but not much else. I don't care about the backseat screens or any of that, and I hardly drive anymore. I would get all the factory warranties as I would be the first buyer it's titled to.

The smallest things can be thousands in repairs on that model. It seems more logical to just downsize and know I have 10 years of drivetrain and 7 of bumper to bumper on all the other things?

What would you guys do? I know this is the G70 area so should I leave her there and bring back the g70 when I go down to pick it up next week?

New to me G90 2020 Ultimate

Just bought a 2020 low mileage (40k) G90 Ultimate Saturday. Love the car. In my futile wisdom I decided to update the firmware / maps / whatever else / using a USB stick. After doing that I lost the doppler radar, all weather, unable to press mic button and do any commands. It says I have to activate connected services which of course they charge for. Boo. That old saying, if it's not broke leave it alone sure holds true. Must have been the original firmware, but the maps worked fine everywhere I drove it. Other than that what a great vehicle, I'm very happy with the performance of the 5.0 and the ride quality.
