Hey everyone,
I made a Coinbase account when I was under 18 but never completed ID verification. I left it unused and just came back to it now that I’m an adult.
My profile is showing a placeholder/wrong DOB (it looks like I may have set it to something like 1999 at the time, but I honestly don’t remember exactly since it was a long time ago).
Now it’s requiring ID verification.
If I submit my real ID now, will Coinbase flag this as a violation and ban/lock the account, or will they just update the info since I never actually completed KYC before?
Just trying to understand how strict they are about this before I proceed.
