Which F150 models came with an access door to service the fuel pump?

The AI machine is telling me there's an F150 model that has an access door under the rear seat. I'm pretty sure that's not a feature on my 97 XLT.

How many of you are still riding a 2015?

My last bike was a 2015 RGS, and I had to sell it after the pandemic. Which sucked because I really loved that bike. I'm in a better place now financially and thinking about finding another of the exact same model.

Mine had like 48k on it when i sold it and it had been pretty reliable bike. I didn't have many mechanical issues with it except for a sensor in the engine block that failed a couple times.

How are the 2015s holding up today? How much are they selling for in your area?

Is this pollen kicking anyone else's butt?

I've been sleeping like crap all week...and was wide awake at 4:15 today. Every muscle and joint in my body is on fire. I'm getting mild but alternating chills and then feeling flushed. Yes, I'm staring down the barrel at 50 yrs of age, but I don't recall it being this bad before.

Ibuprofen is doing nothing. Anyone had luck with other drugs?

I love seeing the “crazy” waving lady on hwy 50 in South Lake

You’ll know her if you’ve seen her. Sometimes on a festive looking trike, sometimes walking. Always smiling and waving. And if you give her a toot of the horn and a wave, she’ll give you an even bigger smile.

I’m beginning to think she’s not crazy at all. Just out here living her best life.

Borrowed a friend's jumper box/inverter for car camping. Game changer. Thinking about investing in my own. Looking for buying advice.

He has one of those Schumacher ones. I was able to inflate my full size airbed, top it up every night, and charge my phone/laptop a few times. And it still had like 60% charge left after several nights.

Now I'm thinking about getting my own. The Schumacher ones were built for automotive use, but there are others out there too. I like the idea of one with a solar panel charger, but the cost really skyrockets.

The Schumacher is like $100 right now, while the Jackery ones with the solar charging are like $1,600?

I don't mind spending a little more since it could also come in handy for power outages at home. But what gives on the major price difference? I can't imagine it costs an additional $1,500 to include a couple panels and a built-in charge controller....

TIA!

Anyone here use DETR unemployment to cushion the blow of seasonal work?

So I'm up at Stateline (Tahoe). We get laid off twice a year for the 'shoulder' seasons, which qualifies for unemployment.

I won't be reliably back to full time for another week or two, although this past week I got enough hours due to the holiday weekend.

Do you just go ahead and certify the weeks when you know you earned enough, and then certify again for the weeks when you need some unemployment to kick in?

I'd call the hotline to talk to someone at DETR, but getting a live person there is a strenuous exercise.

I live up in Tahoe, and while I've passed through Reno... been to the airport a few times... but this was time actually staying downtown overnight. I came down the hill for a concert and spent the night at El Dorado. I took a little walk the next morning as my buddy was still sleeping and was really surprised.

Your downtown is so clean! There was a gang of 'ambassadors' walking around picking up trash too. I also noticed how pedestrian/bike friendly it was too. And the drivers! The minute I stepped up to a crosswalk they were already aware and slowing to let me cross. It was truly surprising. It seemed like it was a cultural thing. Pretty cool.

I'm sorry if you popped in here to expecting to find someone shitting on your city. Nope. Credit where credit is due. My friend had told me DT Reno could be a little 'grimey' but I didn't get that vibe at all.
