How much sinking is too much sinking

How much sinking is too much sinking

I'm pretty new to powerlifting and one thing that I really dont like is soft touch bench press. I enjoy a pause similar to jonathan cayco as seen in this video (except remove like 300lbs lol) https://youtu.be/M5l075VuLNs?is=ZN4SBzmXfxMwk47K

Is this still legal with the new rules to fix elbow depth loophole nonsense in the ipf? How people were generating upward movement with their torso. I enjoy putting more weight into my chest than hands, so I'm hoping it won't lead to red lights in my first competition.

Thank you!

Enlistment Potential for me

Hello, I am interested in enlisting. I am interested in a Cyber related position (really anything IT Infrastructure/Systems). I am graduating very soon with an Cybersecurity Associates Degree and a Technical Certificate in Networking Infrastructure, a Security+ (DoD 8140 Compliant), and a Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification. I am happy to begin the process as soon as possible. The only road bump I see is a mental health issue I had as a teenager/early 20's. I was recommended outpatient in 2021, and prescribed lexapro in 2023. I have demonstrated that I have overcome this, I have absolutely no medications, hold full-time job on-top of being a full-time student, and actively attend extracurricular activities/maintain physical health & exercise. I am 27 y/o male, 6'1 205lbs, I powerlift recreationally, and keep up on cardio. I believe I should be able to obtain a re-evaluation, or a waiver if needed if this does present an issue with MEPs. I would like to speak about what the process would look like for someone in my position: whether or not I am likely to be disqualified by medical and how we can aim for the sector I am interested in with a competency booking.

[B&A] 2-3 Months of consistent skincare

Wondering if anybody has some advice on where to go from here?

I think most of my acne is gone now. So maybe I start focusing more on moisturizing? I dont really know much about skincare lol.

In the morning I use: Panoxyl 10%, CeraVe AM Moisturizer

At night I use: CeraVe Face Wash, Differin

I wasn't using moisturizer at night because I didnt want to lower the effectiveness of the differin, but I think I am starting to get some dryness/irritation around my nose so I will likely need to moisturize more.

I also switched to a sea salt spray for my hair because I think the pomade was making my acne worse.

But just wondering if anybody has any advice?

Thank you

How to stop having a slow first rep on bench?

This is an issue I only have with bench. My first rep is always so slow on the way down until I get the confidence (or something) and then the following reps are much quicker. This happens on my singles as well, making my singles and first reps artificially difficult because I'm basically turning them into a tempo bench.

Sometimes when I drop the bar too fast it gives me biceps pain, but the speed at which reps 2 & 3 move are perfect, I wish I could replicate this on the first rep as well.

How to stop creatine

Anyone know how to come off of creatine? I'm really struggling to stop my daily 5g. It's beginning to do serious damage. Any serious advice appreciated.

Lower Back Rounding

I've been deadlifting on and off for a couple years now, so not necessarily a beginner. But I am 'locking in' again on the big three and decided to film my first deadlift session. Realized that no matter what I do, my lower back rounds.

Basically the point of the post is:

Is it no big deal or should I try a different stance? I've tried sumo before and hated it. Maybe I try semi sumo/frog stance? I just don't want to get injured. I have an end goal of 500lbs by 2027 and need to pick a stance.

▲ 43 r/ccna

Hey everyone. Yesterday I received my CCNA! Super awesome. However, I am constantly looking to move forward.

I am wondering what is the next bang-for-the-buck cert to pair with the CCNA?

My plan was to move onto a Security+. My reasoning for this is because I am in school for Cybersecurity so I have already taken the class for the Security+ - just didnt take the elective to actually gain the certification. So I am probably only a week or two of cramming away from just checking that box.

So other than the Sec+, any other ideas? Or just keep applying?

My goal is, like most of you, to land a networking role. I have been in a great Desktop Support position for the last 9 months and feel overgrown. Looking for entry level networking roles at $65,000-$75,000.
