Are there any other game where things still happen in other places that the player isn't in and you can actually see those places in some way? (Like Outer Wilds)

Disclaimer (you can skip):
I don't wanna spoil Outer Wilds so I might be vague in some descriptions 😅
You probably heard/read this countless times before but it's really a game that should be played as blind as possible where even the official Steam description is a spoiler that could take away cool moments/experiences in the game LOL

One of the coolest aspect in Outer Wilds (NOT Outer Worlds) for me is that the game doesn't care where you are, things will still happen around the in-game world/universe. Most events and "objects" in the game are simulated and continues to be simulated even if they are not rendered. This makes the game so immersive and feels alive. The game even has mechanics that make it possible to see other places without going there and you can see yourself how the world just do its thing. You can even see other places in the middle of certain events (i.e. in the middle of being thrown in the air, or falling). Or use the same mechanic to observe an in-game law of physics even when you're not there.

I'm just curious if there are other games that have this because I'm very interested in trying them 😄

[AV Receiver Onkyo TX-NR555] Shutting down or rebooting after some time

I've been dealing with random shutdowns or reboots on my AVR Onkyo TX-NR555 recently. When it first happened, I was still able to watch a few episodes without interruptions but now it's totally unusable because it shuts down or reboots every few minutes or even a minute.

I'm using a stepdown transfomer (110V 500W) so maybe it could be the one failing but perhaps other people has a similar experience? I've been using this setup since 2020, not everyday but at least once a week. Aside from this issue, it still works totally fine.

I've already tried removing all the speakers and everything plugged in and the issue still happens. I've also cleaned the inside and it was actually very dusty 😅

I noticed a better experience with my surround system, anything else you noticed in the latest update?

A few weeks ago I got the V643 update on my 55" C7K. I'm anxious about software updates especially on TVs so I actually didn't install it immediately. And I usually don't notice improvements most of the time.

Anyway, I noticed that my surround system works better now. Before, whenever it gets a surround format and I pause and play or rewind/forward a video, there's a slight delay in the audio. My AVR clicks and seem to switch to that surround format every time I do these actions. If I do it many times, sometimes the audio breaks and starts to jump or stutter until I stop the video and play it again. Lately, I noticed that it doesn't happen anymore and I can see my AVR showing surround format even when paused which wasn't the case before, it goes back to stereo.

However, I'm honestly not 100% sure it's because of the latest update. My setup is a bit weird because my AVR only supports ARC so I use an adapter to make eARC work. So it could also be somewhere in my setup that made this happen such as AVR firmware update?
(Unrelated) Too bad my AVR is now getting random shutdowns, just when it works better with my TV 😅

So what else did you notice on your TV? I'm just curious. Another small thing I noticed is that Dolby Vision Dark is now called FILMMAKER MODE which I guess is more accurate since "Dark" seems like a negative connotation 😅

Does the battery indicator in SteamOS/big picture mode supposed to work with the OG Steam Controller?

It seems like it's not working for me. The icon just always show full and just earlier my controller died without any warning or the icon changing 😅

Nag cliclick lang nang ilang beses bago magstart. Palitin na kaya baterya?

Nitong mga nakaraang araw, tuwing magiistart ako, nagcliclick lang na parang nadiskarga pero nagiistart din nang normal eventually. SIguro mga after 5 seconds.

Yung baterya Motolite na Aug 2021. Palitin na kaya?
Kapag nasa garahe, mabilis pa rin naman magstart before tong issue na to. Although napansin ko recently na kapag magiistart ako for example humnito ako somewhere, mas matagal. One time matagal talaga na akala ko nadiskarga nanaman.

Balak ko naman na patingin pero baka lang merong may idea. Salamat.

How's the plastic build quality of the new one compared to the OG?

it seems like the common comment about the new Steam Controller in reviews is that the plastic feels "cheaper". I'm not sure what that exactly means and if it's a big deal.
I have an Xbox Series controller, a couple of 8bitDo and OG Steam Controller and I don't know if I feel much difference between them. I don't know which feels "cheap". So I wonder, is the new SC feels "cheaper" than the OG?

Anyone has SVG for little things like the some of the towers?

I already have the ones for the planets and other little things like Nomai mask.
Just wondering if anyone else has SVG for the other things like the Quantum Moon Tower and such things found in the game.

Thanks!
