Why My Playne Doing This?
I came out to fly and found my playne had opened a merch stand on the ramp. I’m sad that it felt compelled to do this. I feel like it’s tired of taking my money.
Attempt #2 (The Other One)
Taking the lessons learned yesterday and applying them today… namely, it’s easier to get a good bend if only a couple sections are bent at a time. #RV10
Rubber mallet massaging is also easier this way.
This was a pain!
Bending the elevator skins, or any skin for that matter, has not been my favorite part of this RV-10 build process. However, one is done and the other is waiting until tomorrow.
Fire Boss bad Plan
I just got going with MSFS24, and I'm loving the career mode. Tonight, I accepted a Fire Fighter job in the Airtractor somewhere in AZ (near Flagstaff?). I dropped my initial load and was vectored to a dry lakebed. I'm not sure if this is a bug that ASOBO needs to address or if there's something different I could have done, but the air attack boss wasn't happy with me. She gave me a very stern "that didn't go as planned" over the radio. I lost reputation points.
Body aches - Smiling Face
I’m sure I’m not alone here. Today was the first time I’ve had in a couple months to spend in the workshop. Total time logged was 6.25 hours, which gave me stiff legs and aching hips from all the standing at the workbench.
However, I now have both right and left elevators basically buttoned up with ProSeal curing on the trailing edge wedges (Van’s RV-10).
No pictures yet, unfortunately.
