How long does it take for the BedJet to ship out? Heat has been brutal so I pulled the trigger and purchased this weekend but I still haven’t gotten confirmation that it shipped (3 business days).
Edit: weirdly, it showed up today (same day as post). I got the ship email three hours later.
Needed to renew my license at the Rhode Island Ave DMV. Ended up in Ivy City and popped over to the Brandywine SPCA. Took this lovely girl Lala out for two hours. We hit up Other Half brewery and she was friendly with everyone she met.
For those who don’t know, you can take dogs out for a shelter skip day - bring them to the park, on a hike, or in our case, a brewery! Gives the dogs a break from the shelter and is a great opportunity for those who love dogs but don’t have one at home.
I primarily take public transit around my city; the problem is that I‘m about 10+ minutes from the nearest metro station. I am looking for a scooter that can help with my first/last mile commuting - take me from my home to the metro and vice versa.
I am under 140 pounds and would be taking the scooter on mostly flat roads. I read that pneumatic tires / 10 inch tires are best to avoid feeling bumps. I don’t think I need to go more than 12-15mph. Can anyone recommend a scooter under $400 that fits my needs or do I need to up my budget?
For those who may say I should look into shared bikes / scooters - my city has Lime scooters but they go 8mph maximum and require facial verification every time you use them. It’s also $30/month for the amount of time I’d require. I have to walk in the opposite direction of the metro to get to the nearest bikeshare, so it’s not super convenient.
I’d like to filter my available options based on this feature but finding it challenging. seeing a lot of different comments about the feature being great for long-haired households.
