As someone who's been playing since a month or two after the release of WHI, just hearing the OG music almost made me tear up.

Despite playing only briefly for a few times in the past two years, I've always been hoping for an event like this, but was sure it wouldn't happen because everyone was like "it would mess up values! The devs wouldn't make such an event!" and now I am so happy these people were wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for ya'll who traded whole inventories for your dream out of game horses and I hope that the OG horses and Throwaback Event horses will each have it's own values so it's not as big of a loss, but I never traded for V1s or things and horses too much overall, so I'll never really feel your pain. I wish ya'll good luck though.

Anyway, back to the Throwaback Event, I never smiled during an event for this long. I'm kinda dissapointed that we can't visit the old even islands, but that's okay. I like how they made the whole event and I'm really glad they made this event at all.

Seeing the old graphics and then the new ones is so crazy though. I still remember loving the old graphics and now I'm like... why? But I'm so happy to see them again.

Anyways, I think that's all that's on my mind right now. Thanks for listening to my rambling no one asked for lol, imma go get some more catch capsules now. Feel free to open discussions about the event in the comments too, however I assume there's gonna be a lot of different posts about the event on Reddit anyway.

Okay so for the past few months I've been collecting Schleich horses from late 90's to early 2000's and some from the 2010's. I geniuely don't like most of the later Schleich horses.

Well, today I saw the new 2027 Schleich horses and I can't help but to not really understand the hate.

I mean yeah, some of the blue painted horses even though they're supposted to be grey are models I will have a beef with because what the f, BUT I find some of the 2027 models so pretty. I think that some of them are better than mosg horses after early 2000's, maybe 2010's. Geniuely. They look way more realistic after YEARS and the paint job on some of the molds looks better than on many Schleich horses from recent years in my opinion. The materials is something I'm still not a fan of, even on the pictures I can see the strange plastic smooth but not completely smooth rubberish surface and I do not like that at all, however the molds are getting more creative, I love that they're FINALLY doing more stuff with the ears (I'm obssesed with my 2005 Shire mare because one of her ears is listening to the back and I really want the 2012 Camargue mare because her ears are pressed back), I feel like the anatomy is just overall better and just... I dunno, as someone who doesn't like most Schleich horses after like 2012 I really wanna buy some of the 2027 Schleich horses. At least one.

I feel so weird for this opinion though, because everywhere I look everyone still hates the new models so much. I mean sure, they could look WAY better, I'm still waiting for more details like veins and a bit better paintjob, but still. They look geniuely good in my eyes.

Is it just me? Am I going crazy? Or am I not alone in this?

Also, feel free to share your opinions if you're one of the majority that still doesn't like the newer Schleich horse models lol.

I was SO CLOSE to catching up with my best survival time. I was a lone wolf, eating a piece of meat that I stole near Rancho from Sabers probably as it was in their territory. After a while of running I got hungry so I stopped and started eating the piece of meat and a pack of wolves pulled up. They were looking at me, but went in other direction and I wasn't in their territory or anything so I figured I'm good. Well, the leader bit me so I ran off. There was a carcass nearby, so I assumed they were protecting it and that they'll leave me alone once I get far away from it. Nope, I ran out of energy and they killed me. I'm so pissed right now. If I was at least in their territory... BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY. They got nothing out of killing me. And they killed me for no reason at all.

Hi ya'll, I really need some help. I'm sixteen, my dog 9 and a half. We've got her when she was a puppy, I was 6 and my mom pretty busy with work, so there was never any socialization. My mom didn't have time for it and I was too young to know how to even take care of a dog. And as emberassing as it is... I realized it just about a year ago. And how big of an issue my dog's agression towards other dogs is.

I figured I could reward my dog every time she sees another dog and doesn't lunge at them. She was never agressive towards other dogs (unless it's a pug or a frenchie because she hates their noses) so the method seemed good to me, I had a starting point.

Honesly, it seemed to me like it worked. She lunged at other dogs less, often paid attention to me when I called her name despite feezing at the sight of another dog and at rare occasions she ignored the other dog, maybe just looked at them.

However today I wasn't paying attention today, a dog walked past and the leash got out of my hand. Thankfully my dog doesn't bite even when getting into a fight with another dog and the other dog didn't bite in the situation either (he was very chill before and after), so it was easy for me to just grab my dog by her harness and pick her up. I know I'm completely at the fault here, I feel really bad and guilty. I should be paying attention at all times knowing I have a reactive dog.

At the same time, the whole situation send me spiraling about my dog's improvement. I don't really remember how reactive she was the rest of her life, so what if I made her improvement up? What if nothing has changed? I don't know, maybe I should try other methods aswell? I feel like I should try something where I'll see bigger improvement, faster. The situation that happened today could have ended up so bad. The owner of the other dog even had a stoller and the other dog was right next to it when my dog attacked. I lost all trust in myself in that moment, what if I slip up again? Or what if I never fix my dog's reactivity? Though I'm starting to wonder if 9 years of living in fear of other dogs (I'm assuming she's reactive out of fear) is even fixable. Afterall, that's most of my dog's life. I wish we could afford hiring a professional dog trainer, but we can't, so... any tips on what I can do?

I'm (16f) on a bus stop 30 minutes early, so I will use this time to write this post. It's been on my mind for a while now.

Since I was small I was always saying that I have the best mom ever, but honesly, I didn't fully realize what that meant until recently. Our views sometimes don't alighn, it can get tense between us at times and she may not always say right things when I come with a problem to her, but we're all flawed and she tries so much.

I love her so much for so many reasons. For example being different than her own mother. For some reason, knowing she was able to see everything that her mother did, pick up the bad things and say "I won't do it this way with my own child" somehow warms my heart. I feel like not everyone is capable of doing this. My uncle definitively wasn't and never will it seems.

Another thing that totally got me few weeks ago was that I was outside on a picnic with my class. On the way to where we were supposted to meet my bottle of water fell and everything spilled. The first thing I did was texting my mom complaining about it lol. I wasn't expecting anything as I text her about stuff just because all the time, but like an hour later I turned around and saw my mom with bottles of drinks I mentioned I felt like having ONCE few days prior. Not going to lie, I almost got a heart attack when she appeared behind me like that, but then I was thinking about the whole thing for like three days straight. She notices small things overall and I appraciate it so much about her.

Next, recently I started going my first part-time job and she cooks lunch for me because I haven't learned how to cook yet and even if I did (I know, embrassing for my age), this job lasts from morning to the late evening, so... Given the circumstanes it's probably not that big of a deal, but she has her own stuff to do, goes to work daily (obviously), has to take care of our dog now that I'm gone all the time AND she finds time to make me lunch? Moms are truly superhumans.

Lastly (even though I could write about her more) I'm well aware I can be annoying and pissy and simply a classic teenager sometimes. Or maybe often. But she still shows me every day that she loves me and puts up with my bullsh¡t and sometimes I'm like... do I even deserve it? Sure, sometimes she comes with a payback when she isn't feeling well for any reason (she always apologizes after being mean though), but still.

People often say we're more like friends than mother and daugher too and I think it says a lot aswell about our relationship.

I feel like I will never be able to ,,pay" her back for everything she does for me and I wish she knew how much she means to me.
