TOW skew lists from arcane journal

Hi folks,

Currently not a TOW O&G player but there are 2 styles of skew lists I wanted to ask about, both from the arcane journal. Not necessarily interested in 100% competitive meta tournament lists but just want to see if these can work "OK" regarding scoring objectives, playing the game, etc.

1 - "oops all trolls": the rough list idea being lots of the 3 types of trolls in core for scoring, hags as characters for buffs/LD, and Ogdruz as the only non- troll unit due to his troll buffs.

2 - "oops all mounted wolf goblins": with the nomads list allowing goblin wolf riders to get close order and horde, the main core would be large wolf rider blocks with spear/ shield along with smaller skirmish wolf rider units with bows. Kiknik for sure along with other mounted goblins for characters, likely goblin shamans for spells/buffs.

So my main question is if anyone had tried any of the above themes, and if so, how they built the list(s) along with any advice or tips. Thanks!

How to equip/use double dragons?

I'm keen on trying tomb kings and love the skeletal crocodile-dragon that TK have, so I'm thinking of running 2 in a low model count/ monster mash list. I'm curious how most people equip and use them in competitive games though.

For example, in a TK grand army list, should both my king general and high priest hierophant be on dragons? Or should I have double kings on dragons and my mortuary priest hierophant be hidden in a unit in the back? And are there any common loadouts that folks can recommend?

All info appreciated!

AoS listbuilding for Disciples of Tzeentch- Oops all themes

Hi all,

For a fun new army I've been looking into some themed Tzeentch lists and I wanted to know how crazy, awful, and/or poorly they would perform. I'm not competitive with AoS by any stretch but want something that can at least "do OK" and somewhat play the game.

Theme #1- "Oops all Tzaangor": A mortal focused list with all units being Tzaangor (warflock). So 4 different units, 1 hero, 1 main infantry, 1 fast melee threat, 1 ranged. Conveniently available in the new spearhead- by my count, buying 3 of these boxes would get me up to over a 2k list.

Theme #2- "Oops all manta rays": A demon focused list with all units using/containing screamers. Maybe only exception being the LoC/Kairos, since they synergize with demons so much despite being birds and not rays. Otherwise the units available would be screamers as a main "troop" and the 2 screamer chariot variants.

Are either of these 2 themes workable in terms of playing the game, being able to score, etc.? Or are these too "meme-y" to function properly with such a limited amount of unit options? Also curious to hear from people who were able to make these lists work. Open to all feedback, thanks!
