Found a hens' tooth today!

Got it for $10 at antique flea market-when I saw it my jaw really did almost drop! Dealer was looking crafty until he wanted to pick one of the tins open and I told him not to because it was radioactive.. scared him and he was glad to get rid of it! 10.5-11kCPM through box and tins with radiacode 102.

Jefferson Golden Hour repair questions-

Hello everyone-I have two questions to ask. In the 1st foto, you can see a very dull hand retention knob and it doesn't clean up with water or brass. Any ideas how to restore the shine? In the 2nd, if you blow it up a little, you can see a pebbly finish on the metal rim. Any way to smooth and clean that without removing the 24k finish? Thanks for any advice!

Help to identify mystery radioactive rock

I picked this up at a flea market as part of a larger estate clean out purchased rock collection from who knows where. It reads about 2.2-2.4 cpm on my radiacode 110 and the spectrum was captured using the same. Suspect the rock is from western US, as purchased it in California.

Has anyone here purchased minerals on certain Asian commerce sites, (known for selling many various minerals and crystals), which were the 'r' word? I know they can't list them as such, but of course I would love to purchase them!
