Is that expected wear and tear on a T80?

The mop started to make an aweful noise when spinning. Turned out to be the ball bearing inside the plastic end of the mop to be fully destroyed and full of rust.

I'm having troubles to find this part with fast shipping, which makes me think that's not supposed to be replaced often, as part of normal maintenance.

Anyone had a similar issue? Any chance to get it replaced under warranty? (It's a <10€ part, but still...)

Looks like Canal+ (France) messed up and is displaying the thumbnail of the next episode

Ep 1 thumbnail is good

Ep 2 thumbnail is from ep 3

So, it's safe to assume ep 3 thumbnail is actually from ep 4. Looks like black and white picture and clothes style from like the 50s? Who want to guess the plot?

Distressing video shows elderly woman trapped inside hot Tesla that was supposed to be in 'pet safe mode'

First frames of the video show a black screen. Looks like pet mode was not enabled at all, as opposed to have failed.

> The responding officers estimated that the temperature inside the vehicle was about 100F by the time the grandmother was able to exit.

The car/app would have told them the exact temperature, rather than a wild guess 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, wdyt?

Can Tasker detect Lockdown mode?

I'd like to trigger additional actions when I lock my phone using the Lockdown feature. (E.g. disable NFC and Bluetooth so the phone can't unlock my car)

I'm not entirely sure this is a standard Android security feature, though. It disables fingerprint unlock, and probably other things in the background too. Maybe it also locks the data partition?

Anyway, is there a way to detect this mode has been activated?

First time my weather automation triggers for a National Weather Service red alert. Almost 40⁰C here in France. Western Europe is burning right now

Red alert is for big/long heat wave

It's up to the point the room ambient air is heating the heating system water circuit 😅

60⁰C in the car in no time when left outside.

We're burning 🥵

nfc_proxy: Next step?

Now we have bluetooth_proxy and ir_rf_proxy, is there any hope, or work in progress to get nfc_proxy on ESPHome and HA?

What do I get right now if I subscribe to it today in France? Is that basically EAP? Does it require a software update, or only FSD requires it (where available)?

I'm gonna make a ~2 000 km round trip next month, so wondering what I could get, and if it's available right after subscribing/rebooting.

Thanks
