Nice handling of construction zone with detour and flag-man (AI4)

https://reddit.com/link/1uh7tuu/video/gas0fbznvu9h1/player

Since people tend mostly to post "issues" with FSD, I thought I'd post this nice handling of a closed road with a detour and a flagman. AI4 / FSD v14.3.4

[Edit: road closure was not known by the navigation, so it had to re-route when FSD diverted from the planned route.]

FSD 14.3.3 avoids red light runner

FSD 14.3.3 HW4 / AI4 did a great job. Stopped at a red light. Looked like it might be preparing for a legal right turn on red. Light turns green. FSD ignores the green light and waits for a red light runner to pass illegally through the intersection.

Sentry now trigging frequently at night?

I'm recently on 2026.14.6.6. Starting either with this release, or whatever I had previously, Sentry mode has started triggering frequently at night for me. I've had this 2025 Model S Plaid since Jan 2025 (just prior to the refresh with the front bumper camera), and this only started happening recently.

My situation: I live in a "downtown" area and have a carport attached to my house. There is a house next to the carport, houses across the street, and active traffic down the street (only occasional at night). But the houses and cars all have lights. I can only imagine that flickering lights or something is triggering Sentry constantly (whereas it didn't before). Last night, for instance, it triggered 54 times between midnight and 5 AM. There are periods of time where it basically triggers every minute or every other minute.

  • This makes it hard to know if anything important actually happened, as a "real" event will be lost in a sea of false triggered events.
  • It can rapidly fill up the drive, meaning that things can get deleted sooner than you'd expect. For instance, I hate the fact that "Photobooth" pictures get deleted when the drive fills up. You have to remember to download them -- and with this Sentry issue, you have to do it basically before nightfall.
  • Everyone knows that flash drives (of any quality) do have a limit on how many times they can be rewritten before failures start. This isn't good for the drive.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to prevent it without disabling Sentry? (I doubt it.) I'm at least hoping someone at Tesla sees this and investigates and fixes the software.

Frunk latch has to be "unlocked" twice; going in for 3rd service repair. Any suggestions?

Jan 2024 MS Plaid. When I unlock the frunk, it pops a little bit, but is not fully unlocked. I have to "unlock" it a second time to be able to open it. Doesn't matter if I unlock from the main screen or the app.

I'll soon be taking this in to a service center to be fixed -- for the third time. Each time will have been a different service center, hoping to find someone who really knows how to fix it.

Anyone else been through this? Any suggestions to tell the service center?

At the moment, using either Chrome or Firefox, I am unable to display my vehicle details. When I click on the Details link in the screen capture below, I briefly get an empty pop-up, and then basically a blank screen with the Tesla banner stuff at the top. Is this happening to others? I cannot find anywhere on the website to contact Tesla about this.

Note: There is no "flair" for website, so I had to choose App.
