What services do I lose if I deactivate my C-HR in the Toyota app?

Here is why I am asking... I took delivery of my C-HR in late April 2026. I drive the vehicle every day, usually 25 or more miles total. I have a Level 2 charger at home that I charge the C-HR most nights so I am at full battery in the AM. Looking at others issues with the 12V battery discharge, based on their recommendations, I turned off permission for Service Connect, Insurance Connect and the wifi in the Privacy Settings of the Toyota app. I also turned off Background Data in the app settings and I Force Stop the app if I use it.

This evening I came home after a 120 mile drive and plugged in the C-HR to charge. It did not start charging even though it was after the scheduled start time for charging. When I tried to turn the car on to flip over to "Charge Now", I got the dreaded "Battery Low" indication on the multi-function display. I'm assuming that this is referring to the 12V battery. The car would not stay powered on in Accessory mode and it would not start charging. Thankfully, the traction battery still had juice in it. I turned the car on and let it sit for about 5 minutes at Ready. After I turned the car off, it started to charge after I removed the charging plug and put it back in again.

This is the first time I've had the "Low Battery" indication. Maybe this was a fluke since I have not had the issues others have described until now. At the same time, I'd like to do what I can to mitigate the problem.

If I deactivate the car in the app, what functionality do I lose? I use Android Auto exclusively for navigation and its other features. I have AAA if I had some problem on the road. Now, I'm doing majority highway speed driving so Traffic Jam Assist isn't as big of a deal as it was previously. And the remote start, lock/unlock were fun in the beginning but now I don 't care to use those features. I really like Lane Tracing Assist and the Adaptive Cruise Control. I hope that isn't a part of the "Connected Services". The C-HR is a great vehicle, but all these "Connected Services" seem like a waste to me. I don't see myself subscribing after the trials are up. I just want to do what I can now to mitigate for the 12V battery issues until Toyota issues a fix.

Pixel 8 Pro on Dark Star - Lost Visual Voice Mail in Phone App

My Pixel 8 Pro locked up. I had to do a force restart on it. After I got the phone going again, I have lost Visual Voicemail within the phone app. When I go into the Phone App settings, I am unable to turn Visual Voicemail back on. Below the Visual voicemail setting this is stated: "The carrier may not support visual voicemail". I ported my number from AT&T Postpaid to USMobile in May. Up until this incident, I had Visual Voicemail in the Phone app. In the interim, I have downloaded the AT&T Visual Voicemail app which works well. Is there a way to get Visual Voicemail to work again within the Phone app? I have tried Force Stop, clearing cache and data. All of my apps show as up to date in the Play Store. Is there are workaround to get Visual Voicemail back in the Phone app? I have seen the discussion in this sub about visual voicemail and people's struggles with it. Since the AT&T app works, I have that. However, if there is a way to get back the functionality I had before, that would be preferable.

Curious why my phone switches to LTE in 5G coverage with no loss of service

I am curious why my phone switches to LTE in 5G coverage areas more on USMobile Dark Star versus native AT&T coverage. Is this because of how AT&T manages MVNO customers in certain areas? I'm not experiencing any service interruptions when my phone switches over to LTE so this is more a curiosity of how the cellular systems work.
