First time ever…

I’d like to share my very first relume job with you all.
I had half an hour of free time during the day today after receiving my first Noctilumina kit, and well… I simply couldn’t wait until the evening. I had to give it a try.
I had a set of worn hands, so I quickly removed the old lume from them and started my very first attempt. I watched quite a few videos to get an idea of what the ideal consistency should look like after mixing the binder and pigment. I managed to get a pretty good mix, so I quickly used the remaining time to do all three hands.
Unfortunately, because I was rushing, there was still a tiny bit of the previous lume left in the hour hand, which is unfortunately visible…
They now need 72 hours to fully cure. After that, I’ll polish them to correct the areas where the lume slightly went over the edge onto the visible surface.
I’ll share a photo of the final result in the comments once they’re finished.
But enough talking — here is my very first amateur relumed set of hands in my life.
Have a great evening/day, everyone!

Thanks to the groups and all the members!

I would like to thank the members of the group and the group itself, because here I have found a hobby, an opportunity for creation, and an opportunity for gathering knowledge and learning that is truly rare! I am grateful!

I am passionate about beauty and quality! I have great respect for objects conceived during the golden age of manufacturing technology, and for their makers and designers… In today’s consumerist worldview, the products being created are all lacking something… lacking something that would give them an intangible energy, a certain essence.

I am passionate about vintage things. I wear vintage clothes, I have vintage watches (both original and replica…), and I have been restoring vintage bicycles for years…
In short, I love objects, music, books… etc. that were made to last for eternity, that evoke an unrepeatable era of the world.

But before I get too deeply immersed in this, I will return to what I originally wanted to say: Thank you to everyone, because I have the privilege of being part of a great community, a group of wonderful people who are born to create and be creative, and whose work and passion give me another boost every single day to improve myself and educate myself in this wonderful hobby. I am grateful for all the help and guidance I have received through comments and messages… both directly and indirectly…
I try to be an active and useful member of the groups, and although I am a beginner, I am thorough and totally perfectionist and maximalist, so I absorb knowledge quickly… if I can be of help to anyone in any way, please feel free to contact me! Not only when it comes to watches…

My warmest regards to everyone!

Some glamour shots about the 5513 & small story about it…

The watch came into my hands a few weeks ago. I bought it here from an extraordinary, kind, and genuinely great person( u/Ok_Firefighter4280 ). As soon as it arrived, I knew exactly what I wanted to refine further to make it feel even more perfect to me, and truly make it my own.
I replaced the dial with a Viet version, and the hands with “genspec”-style ones, which I aged and tinted myself so they would match the dial. I also replaced the crown and tube with Viet genspec versions.
After that, only the bracelet was left. I replaced the previous Raffles bracelet with a Viet one as well. Naturally, the clasp code, endlinks, and bracelet references all match the II.67 caseback and the serial engraving on the case.
Now, all that remains is to adjust the size of the CGs so that the whole watch has a more cohesive look.
I hope you guys will like it as much as I do.
Have a lovely evening, everyone!

WTB (EU) Sea Dweller - 126600 (VSF, VF, Clean - NO QF)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a red-text 126600 Sea-Dweller within the EU.

I don’t care about the overall condition, as long as the alignment is good and the SEL gaps are tight.

If you can’t prove you’re a legitimate seller with clear, high-quality photos—or, if we’re seriously discussing a deal, by communicating through other trusted channels—please don’t message me.

I’ve had far too many scammers respond to my WTB posts.

Thanks!

MY FIRST TRUE NWBIG!

A VSF 6X 126710GRNR - Soon I’ll write a long, detailed review of this piece and the person I bought it from, because out of every watch I’ve ever bought, this one is my absolute NWBIG..

I’m incredibly sensitive to symmetry, alignment, fit and finish, and even the tiniest imperfections. Yes, it’s a replica, and yes, they’re “just replicas,” but I’m obsessed with finding those rare examples that somehow turn out almost flawless.

Maybe I’m naive, stubborn, and ridiculously picky… but I have the time, and honestly, I love the whole process—the research, the reading, and getting lost in all the little details.

The Bruce Wayne wasn’t even on my wishlist, but this watch grabbed me from the very first moment I saw it.

Anyway, I’d better stop here, because this was supposed to be the short version…

My friend u/re-tar-dead , thank you so much for everything. I truly appreciate it! I’ll be back soon with a detailed review and my full thoughts.

One thing worth mentioning already, besides the aesthetics: the watch is running at 260° amplitude, +2 seconds/day, and 0.0 ms beat error right out of the box.

I’ll be back soon.

Until then, I’ll let the photos do the talking.
