Can we talk about the blatant favoritism and forced screen time Shivangi is getting?

First of all, Harshad needs to stop overreacting for fuck's sake. When Dheeraj held Shivangi to celebrate after she won the task, Harshad immediately jumped in with "usko lagi hai, araam se". But what kills me is his selective muteness. Why does his mouth suddenly stop working when Ram Kapoor tries to get way too close to Shivangi? Why is Harshad acting like her full service man for no reason, if not to deliberately highlight the idea that there's something going on between them?

Now, onto Shivangi. Look, I do not support the nasty things Shilpa said about Shivangi’s personal life or her past affair, that was out of line... However, Shilpa was lowkey right about one thing: Shivangi constantly acts all weak, playing the damsel in distress so she can push Harshad forward to take stands and confront people for her. It took Arjun literally spelling it out for her to realize she needs to actually start playing her own game.

The favoritism and the behind the scenes confidence are so transparent. It was completely obvious she knew she wasn't getting evicted this week. The way she was confidently applying her makeup in the washroom and casually telling Shreya, "I will talk to you afterwards," proved she knew she was safe.

The makers are trying so hard to push her image and force her narrative down our throats, but I am not buying it. Her screen presence is entirely unentertaining. At this point, she just feels like a daily soap actress doing anything to save a dying career, and the forced editing is ruining the season.

My ex-situationship broke our no contact agreement with a late-night call, then gave the most insultingly lazy excuse. Did I take it too far by silently blocking him?

Hey everyone, I just need to vent and get some perspective on a situation that has me genuinely pissed off.

For context, he and I were in a heavy situationship. We really wanted to date each other, but we couldn’t be in the same cities. We both knew that for a long-distance relationship (LDR) to actually work, one person eventually needs to sacrifice and move to the desired city for the other. For various reasons, that just couldn’t be worked out. There was absolutely no exit option to this LDR.

Because of the dead-end logistics, we mutually agreed to end things on a good note. We decided we would slowly stop talking to each other and just let the connection fade out. Eventually, we reached that point. I explicitly told him to stop calling and texting me, and he agreed to it.

A few days went by, and he broke it by texting me. I gave in and replied. But then, two nights ago he called me completely out of nowhere.
I didn’t see the call initially. Because we had ended on decent terms, I panicked a bit thinking it might be something important or an emergency, so I called him back at 3 am assuming he might still be awake. He didn't answer.

The next morning, he sent me this text:
“Hey about the call a friend of mine took my phone and called you from it. Sorry for disturbing ”

I was instantly disgusted and so angry. It is so blindingly obvious that he either had a weak moment or was drunk the night before, woke up with sober regret because I actually called back, and panicked. So, to protect his own ego, he threw his friend under the bus.

Like I'm supposed to believe his friend randomly picked up his phone at night, scrolled to my name, and dialed me just like that . I then sent a single, cold word back “fair”.

Right after, I went ahead and wiped him completely out of my life. I removed him from my Instagram account , and then I just went ahead and blocked his number entirely without giving him a single word of explanation.

Now I'm sitting here wondering if I took it too far. Part of me feels like blocking him out of nowhere was too aggressive since we technically started out wanting a peaceful fade-out. But the other part of me feels like he completely disrespected my boundaries by calling at midnight and then treating me like an afterthought with a cowardly lie.

Did I make the right move by completely cutting his access to me, or did I overreact?

Thanks in advance to everyone for reading and for any advice or perspective you can give me. I really appreciate it!
