Maybe I am being too much of a perfectionist, but this is an incredible amount of work…especially painting everything. I had to re-do 64 screws three times just to be sure the paint was good, but I’m not even halfway done!
I’m so excited for this project!!! Tamiya 56041!! I still have my first Tower Hobbies four channel FM radio I will attempt to resurrect for this…

Started as a cheap, brushed 2wd…still 2wd, but indestructible (now). It got run over by a real, full-size truck once, so I think one of the axle pins might be original…anyway, 55 mph on 3s is plenty of fun for a 2wd truck!!
