Orion vs 8 Sleep feedback - need a new topper and wanted advice

I had an 8 Sleep (Pod 3) that leaked multiple times. The first time, they replaced it without much hassle. The second time, I was basically ghosted (I never heard back despite multiple attempts to get support).

I switched to the Perfectly Snug because I wanted to avoid water-based systems. It’s been reliable, but the temperature regulation isn’t in the same league as the 8 Sleep. I do appreciate the physical controls, though; they’re a nice quality-of-life feature.

For anyone who’s used either/both, what are your thoughts on the Orion? What are the real pros and cons compared with the 8 Sleep? How comfortable is the topper? One thing I never loved about my old 8 Sleep was that you could feel the water channels under you at times. Has Orion solved that, or is it similar?

Which sauna is the best for <$6k?

I’ve gone way too far down the infrared sauna rabbit hole and could use some advice from people who actually own one.
The biggest constraint is the footprint. It’s going in my office, so I’m trying to stay around 40” x 40” or smaller, and <$6k seems more than fair.

I actually don’t mind a shorter sauna if it keeps the overall size down.

My goals are pretty simple…Relaxation/stress relief, General health/longevity,
Recovery

I’ve looked at what feels like every brand at this point: Clearlight, Sunlighten, Heavenly Heat, SaunaBox (Solara), Relaxe, Nordik Recovery, SalusHeat, Dynamic, Vital+, Burneek, etc.

A few questions:
- Are any of these basically the same sauna with different branding?
- Is there anything that’s genuinely worth paying up for, or is it mostly marketing?
- Does full spectrum vs. far infrared actually matter?
- Is the built-in red light useful, or would you rather have a better sauna and buy a separate red light panel?

If you were buying today and wanted something compact, what would you buy?

What do you love, what do you regret, and what would you buy again?
