Amazon vs. Costco

I'm debating between a few brands on Amazon and the Costco 2 person Sauna. Has anyone purchased from Amazon or Costco? If so, what is your experience? The reviews are all over the spectrum... it gives me anxiety to choose

Do you unplug your sauna

After every time you use it ? I just got a costway infrared sauna has been really nice but I noticed it tells you to unplug the sauna after every session. It seems a bit obsessive to me but it literally tells you twice seems to stress that you should unplug it.

Which sauna is the best for <$6k?

I’ve gone way too far down the infrared sauna rabbit hole and could use some advice from people who actually own one.
The biggest constraint is the footprint. It’s going in my office, so I’m trying to stay around 40” x 40” or smaller, and <$6k seems more than fair.

I actually don’t mind a shorter sauna if it keeps the overall size down.

My goals are pretty simple…Relaxation/stress relief, General health/longevity,
Recovery

I’ve looked at what feels like every brand at this point: Clearlight, Sunlighten, Heavenly Heat, SaunaBox (Solara), Relaxe, Nordik Recovery, SalusHeat, Dynamic, Vital+, Burneek, etc.

A few questions:
- Are any of these basically the same sauna with different branding?
- Is there anything that’s genuinely worth paying up for, or is it mostly marketing?
- Does full spectrum vs. far infrared actually matter?
- Is the built-in red light useful, or would you rather have a better sauna and buy a separate red light panel?

If you were buying today and wanted something compact, what would you buy?

What do you love, what do you regret, and what would you buy again?

Buying 1-2 person sauna - Budget is up to $4500

My main goal would be deep joint and muscle healing. so... far infrared?

Secondary goal of being able to get a good sweat in - so temperature rising not taking forever?

It will be in a covered area, but is outdoors, but is also well out of the elements. Cedar seems like a good choice for this case to prevent bugs, but will be in a screened patio.

Here are some products I have identified:

  1. SunRay Sedona 1 Person Cedar Infrared Sauna with Carbon Heaters
  2. Almost Heaven Laurel 1-Person Infrared Sauna
  3. RejuvaCure™ Red Light Therapy Low EMF Infrared Sauna
  4. Dynamic Vittoria Elite 2-person Ultra Low EMF FAR Infrared Sauna

Any help is appreciated! I am not sure how to evaluate any of this.

Is this real? Infrared sauna at gym

The eos fitness by me uses these light strips in their infrared sauna. Am I crazy or are these just regular TikTok LED strips??

I’m no infrared expert and maybe I’m wrong, but can someone here with more knowledge than I please confirm whether or not these are legit infrared lights? I’m paying almost $50 a month to have access to these kinds of upgraded amenities and want to make sure I’m not being scammed!

Thoughts on the new Plunge Infrared sauna?

Just came across the new Plunge IR sauna and I’m curious what this community thinks.

The design definitely looks futuristic, but I’m not totally sold on the actual usability. For the number of people it claims to fit, the interior specs seem relatively small compared with other units in the same category.

I also noticed they’re using hemlock, which, from what I’ve read, is generally considered a cheaper option compared with cedar or eucalyptus. That makes me wonder about long-term durability, especially with the amount of heat cycling involved.

The amount of glass is another concern. It looks great visually, but I’d be skeptical about heat retention. I have a hard time believing it reaches 175°F quickly and then stabilizes there without pulling a lot of power, especially given the glass-heavy design and hemlock construction.

One other thing that stood out: the “near-zero EMF” claim seems like it may be based on their far-infrared carbon panels, not necessarily the full-spectrum heaters. From what I understand, full-spectrum heaters can emit much higher EMF levels, which could matter to some buyers.

Lastly, do we know where the temperature prob is located? Curious where the "175 F" max temp read will be coming in from given the height of the ceiling...

Not trying to be overcritical. It looks interesting, but I’m curious if anyone here has dug into the specs or tried one in person. Does this seem like a genuinely well-engineered sauna, or more of a design-forward product with compromises?

How long did it take you to actually pull the trigger on buying an infrared sauna?

Curious how long the research-to-purchase journey actually takes for most people.

Did you decide quickly or did you spend months going down rabbit holes comparing brands, EMF levels, warranties, and wood types before finally clicking buy?

And looking back — do you think the extra research time was worth it, or did you overthink it?

New sauna help

Looking to add an infrared sauna to our home gym. Had my mind made up on the Radiant Health Pause 2.5 sauna…willing to spend a little more on a premium, high quality brand and had the electric 20amp outlet installed. All-in, price is around $8k including summer promotion and delivery…

And then I stumbled upon a few 3person infrared models at Costco for a fraction of the price that seem pretty good. Dynamic Bellagio for $2500 or the Dynamic Lugano for $3200. Shipping will likely be extra but this is a fraction of the price for the radiant health models…HELP!!

JNH Tosi 360 170F reviews?

Looking to buy a 1-person IR sauna (that's all I have space for in my apartment). Mainly interested in low VOC and high temp. I found the Tosi sauna that heats up to 170F which I can get for ~$3.5k inc tax, however there's almost no info/reviews about it online (I've seen reviews on Ensi+ but not Tosi)? Curious if anyone can share their opinions (and no, I'm not interested in spending $5k+ on saunas by companies that just spend a ton of money on marketing).

Looking for recs

My husband and I would like to purchase a new indoor infrared sauna and we have a tall list of wants for our next one and having trouble narrowing down our search.
We are looking for recommendations if you would be so kind!

Here's our list of wants in order:

  1. Remote start
  2. Would like it to run off a non-dedicated standard electric plug.
  3. At least get to 150 degrees.
  4. Preferably a 2+ person sauna but ok if it's 1 person.
  5. Would love red light in it.
  6. Under $5k but ok if it goes just a tad higher.

Paying for recs with puppy tax! 🐾☺️

I’m considering getting an infrared sauna. Do you feel the health benefits for muscle stiffness and regeneration?

I’m interested in hearing about the general experience for health benefits if you could share yours.

Also any tips or advice on the spec of the sauna. I just want it for 2-3 people.

Costway Single Person Sauna

Any opinions on it ? I can get a pretty good deal on one thinking about grabbing it.

I was considering a Lifepro 1 person Sauna but I can't seem to get it shipped to canada.

Nordic Recovery Cancelled my delivery!

Has anyone had issues with delayed delivery and lack of communication from Nordic Recovery? Has anyone not received their sauna from them?
I just found out from the shipping company that Nordic Recovery had cancelled my fulfillment for delivery and there is no sauna for pick up.
Lack of communication from customer service has been frustrating thus far. No one answers the phone or responds to emails.

Ensi+ high heat

So I just ordered a JNH Ensi + that supposedly hits 170 degrees. Little bit of an impulse buy, but I have found few things more frustrating than looking at infrared saunas. Their current sale was too good to not give it a go. 2300 shipped as I was looking at spending twice if not triple that just a week ago. I have been using sweaty goat saunas in a commercial setting for the last four months and those typically sit above 160 and I love it. As long as this gets above 160 I think I’ll be happy. I’ll update this entire process if there is any interest. Sweat you later…

Lifepro low emf vs Lifepro one person sauna

Lifepro has two one person saunas that are identical in spec. One is the $2K lifepro that's been reviewed by Matt Justice and has a higher emf than the Rocky Mountain, Heavenly Heat, etc

Lifepro also has a $2.6K low emf model with identical specs. Has anyone measured the ultra low emf model for comparison with both the Lifepro and the $5K models?
