So I knew they were basically tabloid-level nonsense but this asshole just said that Israel “engineered” the migrant crisis facing Spain from Morocco. And they have 6M+ subscribers. At least the Nazis on the right still have to hide. Does this reach the level of blood libel, or just flirts with it

Last cycle AIPAC found a politician for rent to help them buy a congressional seat and defeat a black congresswoman and one of the very best best reps for the people, Cori Bush. They broke spending records with negative ads and installed Wesley Bell.

This week Jasmine Crockett just endorsed the AIPAC candidate over Bush, seeming to confirm voter suspicions of her alignment with (in the most benign terms) a racist, foreign, Jim Crow state.

Personally, I've become so dissilusioned with our representstives. AIPAC fights even harder against principled Black politicians than they do whites, and the ones who have stood on principle are now few and far between. IMO that is a big reason why Black politicians no longer lead on making actual change, and since we have been the moral engine of the Democratic party that vacuum has made inevitable then party's recent ineptitude.

I can not trust the morals or motivations of a black person who fights for Jim Crow and apartheid because if you'll sell out there you'll sell out anywhere. You'll sell out ot the AI industry or predatory loan companies or private prisons or any white racists orgs who are acceptably camouflaged and sufficiently funded.

That's my rant and here's my question:

Does a black politician's stance on this issue make a profound difference in how you see them, and how do we address the issue of black politicians who align with AIPAC over the morals and priorities of their commuity?
