Tubeless tire pressures on older/vintage bikes

I have an old (20y) bike, and have run tubeless with Stans, since the start. That wasn't too long after people started converting regular rims to tubeless setups.

I recently looked up pressures as I setup my daughter's 27.5" bike as tubeless, and either I just got educated, or things changed over the years, in terms of pressures that are run in conversions. I've been running lower 30's, all along.

Did I miss it entirely for all these years, or has there been a shift towards running lower pressures since that time?

My setup is 26x2.3 tires with DT Swiss xr 4.1d rims (which are narrow and I seem to recall having some more bead locking issues). I just want to make sure there aren't safety issues in moving to lower pressures at this point.

Sub-30 lbs electric scooter with 8"+ wheels and lower speed or app controllable speed?

Can anyone recommend an affordable and sturdy electric scooter that:

  • Weighs less than 30 lbs
  • Has 8" + tires
  • Has a top speed of 13mph, or can be restricted with an app

Inexpensive/Older LXT drills with side handle?

I'm looking for an older or inexpensive yet powerful LXT drill that has a side/secondary handle to dedicate to some cleaning brushes we use at the house (up to 6") for shower, etc. I have an XPH12, but that has no side handle. I think I used to have something like a BHP___ that had a side handle.

Can anyone shout out some model numbers that will work well for the purpose, and have the side handle?

Dripline with or without anti-siphon, below mulch, and freeze/thaw. Netafim Techline DL vs Dripnet PC

In Netafim, it seems like their Techline (DL) is anti-siphon and also costs a lot more than the ag oriented DripNet PC. For above-ground, but below mulch application for residential landscaping, is there any real advantage of the Techline DL (with anti-siphon) over the Dripnet PC (no anti-siphon)?

I live in an area that can get early or late freezes, and the irrigation may have currently been in-use. It seems the anti-siphon Techline DL may also not gravity drain out - is that right? If so, anyone know how it's emitters are affected by a freeze with water in the tubing?

I'm guessing the DripNet PC will drain by gravity, but unclear if under mulch it's likely to clog when it back-siphons.

Can someone explain (or point me to docs) on how to apply minor Sequoia patches using a USB thumb drive without overwriting the full OS?

Background:

I have a macbook 11,3 (late 2013 15") running OCLP. It has been sitting idle since early last year, and is currently on Sequoia 15.2.

I updated OCLP and installed the update to disk/rebooted. Mac Settings says there is an os update, but when navigating to Software Update, it just spins looking for the update update.

I've read you need to install the minor updates (in this case 15.2 -> 15.7.5) via a USB drive, but have only ever done that for a major OS upgrade. I couldn't find docs on how to do the minor update without overwriting the full OS and apps/docs.

Note: Since this machine is on it's own VLAN and used only for a 3D printer, I am not logged into icloud with my ID.

After testing first chamber with the sludge judge and getting a clearly 'overdue notice', I checked the 2nd chamber (of a 3 chamber tank) and found around 8" (out of 46") of sludge.

1) What's the acceptable level of sludge in the 2nd chamber, and is it likely I sent solids out to the drain field (no effluent filter in chamber 2)?

2) Given my tank's design (below), where should I be checking the first chamber with the sludge judge?

3) If I felt a harder 'crust' on the bottom 1" of the tank, are there any special considerations when having it pumped?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Additional background, if you care to read:

I have a 15 year old septic system, 3 chamber (1000/500/500) tank (below), pressure pumped out to the drain field. Only difference from below is no effluent filter in tank 2 and the pump may sit differently. 2 adults, 1 child.

At 5 years from pump out, I checked first tank with rag stapled to stick and didn't seem very deep, but that method wasn't good. Seemed like almost no crust with shovel, but floating toilet paper.

With sludge judge, today (6 years since pump): Looked like massive crust left of center of the lid opening, but right rather thin. Sludge judged maybe 4" to the right of the inlet (above and below in the diagram), and could feel a dense layer the last inch. It cam out with the whole column obscured, and I was shocked. Moving just right of the centerline of the lid, and the top was darker for 6" and the bottom was maybe 16", with an overall height of 4', so definitely overdue.

Second chamber: Had about 8" of sludge, 6" in front of its inlet.

In the 3rd chamber, a few test came back clean, but 'below' the pump (as shown in diagram), maybe 1" of dark at the bottom. I'm not sure my pump is elevated like what they show in the diagram.
