By GPT and google search, I can barely confidently identify two lawn species on my backyard - Darwin hairy paspalum and broadleaf carpet grass. The rest of them still confuse me a lot because the AI outcomes usually give me a big question mark and there is not much online info about the lawn in NT…

Pic 1,2,3: GPT told me is crabgrass, can’t confirm as the internet pictures don’t look the same to me.

Pic 4,5,6: told by GPT is QLD blue couch? Again confused.

Pic 7,8,9,10: no idea…

Replace colorbond single-storey house. Approx. replaced area is 160 sqm for the main house + 70 sqm for the verandah.

All built to code of NT cyclonic standard.

~$40k is the best quote I got after 6 site inspections. The higher end quote comes ~$53k.

Fair or rip-off?

Hi everyone, I am planning to get this green part of roof sheet and the surrounding replaced. Those are left by the previous owner, looking awful and was leaking to my verandah in the last wet season.

The last roofer coming for repair said it is too far from making it good and needs replacement, especially would need proper flashing under the triangular part (the 3rd photo).

Any suggestions I need to know before I talk to the roofer? Expected budget to get it done?
