CMV: Graham Platner dropping out is illogical and unproductive

Graham Platner is being called to leave the Maine Senate Election coming in November, after more accusations of inappropriate behavior inckudong sexual assault. I am trying to read every meaningful discussion on this issue however each time I am find myself making excuses or letting bias creep in because I think this is a terrible idea.

I understand and acknowledge his past and some decisions cannot be ignored and excused. My brain keeps returning to this is akin to movie/tv plots such as Sophie’s Choice or the final episode of MASH with the crying infant.

So many concerns of the population will not be addressed if the Senate remains as is. To remove a candidate this late, who I believe could win the election, will contribute to a continuation of the status quo. I’m trying to ignore arguments of “whataboutisms” regarding D and R candidates being treated differently.

Overnight chaos, called Admin

nightshift has 2 nurses, 1 provider, 14 rooms in ED. currently there are 19 patients in the department.

called admin to ask for resources and was told:

”I’m out of town, I can’t help, good luck!”

I flaired this as a meme because my life is a joke.

And they are absolutely dunking on admin and the stereotypes (all are valid and real).

This after donating to the memorial for Alex, just amazing. Despite your opinion on the products, they are walking their talk.

bravo.
