I’m curious to hear from someone familiar with the scene talk about this!

Hello! I'll try and be concise. There's this photo I vividly remember seeing of Amanda Lepore at the gym. If you don't know who Amanda Lepore is (first of all how dare you haha) she is a model, entertainer, and trans icon popular in the NYC queer nightlife scene. She has a pretty eccentric look, so that combined with ordinary gym setting always made me laugh (also theres this photo of her in a pizza hut express that has the same energy, and also makes me laugh)

Description of photo: its seemingly taken by someone who was trying to be discrete. I think they're also using the gym equipment. You can only see her back, but with Amanda's look you can immediately tell its her. She's on the treadmill I think, it could have also been the stair-master or elliptical, something she's upright on. She was dressed how you think Amanda Lepore would dress for the gym, vintage inspired style with a tiny waist and large 1950's hair. She might have been listening to her ipod or phone, with earbuds in. The lighting was very bright, very florescent. The quality of the photo was a tad shaky and blurry. Ive attached a mockup of the photo that I made, I think it's pretty accurate.

My only lead: There is a 2023 video series made by drag queen Milk where she leads Amanda Lepore through some exercises, heres the link, Amandas outfit in this is almost exactly how I remember it being in the photo, so I thought it could have just been a screenshot from this. But no where in any of the videos do you see the angle I remember. Also the gyms look completely different. The lighting is so dark in the video, and it was very florescent in the photo. Also the gym in the video was very modern and fancy it seemed, but the gym in the photo looked pretty average
