[M27] Marathi Mulga from Mumbai | Software Engineer | Looking for a meaningful connection

Hey everyone! Thought I’d give this a shot.

I’m 27, born and brought up in Mumbai, and currently work as a Software Engineer with a stable six-figure monthly income. I’m a single child and live with my parents. We are a close-knit, well-settled family with our roots in Konkan.

A little about me:
Family-oriented and grounded.
Ambitious and career-focused, but I believe work-life balance is equally important.
Big cricket fan and can spend hours watching or playing the game.
I also enjoy competitive online gaming, exploring new tech, and occasionally going on long drives and food outings.
I value honesty, loyalty, and mutual respect in relationships.
Looking to settle down in this year with the right person.

What I’m looking for:
Someone around my age (same age or up to 2-3 years younger).
Career-oriented, ambitious in her own way and preferably earning close to me.
Preferably from Mumbai, since I plan to continue living and settling here.
Konkan roots would be a bonus since our cultures and family values may align better.
Someone genuine, respectful, emotionally mature, and loyal.
Family-oriented and comfortable with a joint family setup, as I stay with my parents and would like to continue doing so.

If our values match and you’d like to know more, feel free to reach out. Happy to connect and see where things go. 🙂

Need suggestions on my portfolio for 10–15 years

I’m planning to continue investing for the next 10–15 years through SIPs. Currently, I have stopped investing in PPFAS Asset Management funds, and my active investments are mainly:

  • Nifty 50 Index Fund
  • Jio BlackRock

I’m also doing a 10% SIP step-up every 6 months.

The reason I’m focusing on SIPs is because I already have a home loan, so I want my investments to at least help offset or recover some of the interest burden over the long term.

Wanted suggestions from experienced investors here:

  • Should I continue with this setup for long term?
  • Should I add more mutual funds or diversify further?
  • Is moving some amount into direct stocks a better idea?
  • Should I consider US market exposure as well?

My investment horizon is long term (10–15 years), and I’m okay with moderate to high risk.

Would appreciate honest suggestions and portfolio improvement ideas.

Hey folks,

I’m currently working as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, and New Relic. I feel pretty confident in my current skill set.

Now I’m looking to upskill and future-proof my career. Recently, I’ve started exploring AI tools like Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc., and I’m trying to understand where to head next.

Which roles or domains do you think are growing right now and worth transitioning into? I’m particularly interested in something that builds on my DevOps background but also aligns with current industry trends.

Would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions from the community.
