Kong prep find that’s helpful

When preparing our pups Kongs I’ve found the children flat syringes This type work brilliantly for putting Greek yoghurt into the Kong with minimal mess.

Hope that helps some others!

A different kind of blues I didn’t expect…..

We lost our first dog this year quite traumatically to bloat. I’ll be honest it hit me really hard as he was such a close companion to me and who I spent a lot of time with.
We’ve just brought home a new puppy who is beautiful and mischievous. I knew what to expect this time around but what I didn’t expect was the sudden twang of guilt as I felt I’d forgotten my first friend for a moment. I just felt really guilty for enjoying this new dog without my old pal being there.
I’ve got lots of things to remember my first friend but I just want to make sure I don’t let his memory fade as my life with the new pup begins.

Has anyone else has this twang of guilt before?

Climbed at The Roaches - Peak District. Awesome spot!

I booked in at the Don Whillans cabin for a few nights to climb at The Roaches in the Peak District. What an awesome location. Lots of easier problems which was perfect for me and meant I got a lot of climbs in but could still try some that pushed me a bit too. It was all within about a 2 mins walk of the hut too. £11 a night is nothing to be sneezed at and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who’s a BMC member.

This week we said hello to Ivy

She’s our first Labrador (and second dog) after our GSD sadly passed away. She’s 9 weeks old now and very confident. She’s quiet but she’s not shown an ounce of fear in the house. She’s learned her name and sit in the first couple of days.
She just hates her playpen and crate still. Something to work on. The excitement of our two young boys seems like too much of a draw 🤣

MYOR - how could I fix this strap?

I bought this bouldering mat very cheap but I’m not sure how I’d go about fixing this strap? Any help would be much appreciated!

Getting the wife into better coffee

My wife has decided to ditch the pods and drink coffee with me in the morning instead. That’s great but most of my brewers are for smaller cup volumes.
I have a Hario Switch size 3 (glass) but was half thinking about a filter coffee machine.
Before I sink any money into a machine is there a particularly good brewer for making two cups at once quite easily? Grinder wise I’m using a Fellow Ode with SSP burrs.
