Cylinder 6 misfire on the pentastar. 25psi in cylinder 6 with a bad rocker arm on number 5. In my other bay, 17 wrx that was mixing oil and coolant, plus co2 in the coolant. Getting head gaskets, tensioners, radiator, and hoses. It's crazy that there's no aftermarket support for these 2.0s i could get the left head gasket, bolts, the intake gaskets exhaust gaskets, water pump from napa. The right head gasket, the orings that go behind the timing cover, tensioners, and radiator had to come from the dealership. Even the hoses had to come from worldpac. I run across that with the crosstrek, but never been an issue with the WRX.

I was watching YouTube and picking my revolver. I can't ever make it past the 4th position which is the mushroom pins. Tonight I pulled it off. I had a harder time with the spools than usual, but the mushrooms only took about a minute. Going to have to do it again to show it wasn't a fluke.
These are the locks that I ordered a week ago. They showed up today. Both have working cores, the bigger of the 2 turned but the shackle was stuck. I shot a little Kroil into both keyways and gave the bigger one a little tug. It popped open. The smaller one works fine, but a little bit tight. I have them both bathing in WD40 at the moment, and then I'll clean the bodies up. I'm pretty confident that they'll both turn out to be in good working order.
I've had a dimple pin precise m practice lock for 3 years that I haven't touched. Just a clear lock keyed at both ends. I ordered these last night to finally get started on dimples. They didn't have the smaller set in stock, so I got the bigger set. Anyone else have them? The reviews looked good. 5 out of 5. I'm hoping I made a good choice.
I've got a couple bags full of cheap locks that I've worked my way through over the years. Time to donate them to others wanting to try the sport. Currently, I'm working on repinning my repinnable locks so that I have new challenges. I have my wife pick the pins and drop them in. That way I don't know what's inside. Going to try dimple locks next when my tools arrive. This tubar lock kicks my ass. Same locks that are on my matco toolboxes. Tubular locks are my favorite. I like the you have to pick out multiple times to open them.
I dropped this into my recliner Friday night and couldn't find it. 3 cats were under there with me, but no luck. I let it filter it's way down the past few nights. Grabbed a light tonight and bam there it was. I'm happy to have it back. My skill came back, my tensioner came back. It's a great night!!
I had planned on spending the weekend working on my picking skills. Friday night I discovered that my skills had taken a vacation. I ended up touching nothing all weekend, and went to do other hobbies. I still seem to have the ability to hit a target at 500 yards with the lapua which is nice. (Would like to go farther, but don't have the room) I tried my sidewinder a few minutes ago and got it opened 3 times in a few minutes. I really wanted to advance this weekend. But that's how it always seems to go. Oh well. There's always next weekend right?
I have been working on my paclock 90, had no luck. That's nothing new. Haven't gotten it open yet. So I grab an american 1100 which i can pretty consistently open. Nothing. So let's try the abus titalium. Nope. Let's try my repinnable schlage nothing. OK I'm getting a little bent now. I grab my sidewinder with only 1 spool in it. I got it open, but can't repeat it over and over again, even though I've got it memorized. Short hook to lift #5, medium hook for #3 (the spool) then 4, 2, and 1. Usually a piece of cake. So now it's time to watch some TV. I'm done for the night. In usually better than this. Oh and I bounced a reaper TOK tensioner off of my vice and it and down inside my recliner somewhere. I'll look for it tomorrow. If I can't find it, I'm sure the vacuum cleaner will.
Just ordered these 2 beauties yesterday. The junkunc brought has a core that turns, but the shackle doesn't lift. The other works fully. I'm thinking some lube will do wonders. Can't wait to get them in my loving hands!!
Master LOTO, another American lock, 3 new keyways for my practice locks, and a bunch of bags of key drivers in the various sizes with springs. Plus several new bypass tools. Combs, knife, etc.
I like the handles quite a bit. I'll mess with them this weekend.
I took my revolver apart last night to see the mushroom pins in it. But I ended up gutting all 4 chambers, plus the key pins. Then my cat decided to hop up onto my pinning mat and knock everything everywhere. I had already taken my sleeping pill, (ambien) so I decided that I'll just throw everything in a zip lock bag until tonight after work. I'm hoping I found everything. 25 pins, 20 springs. Wish me luck.
Dude towed his datsun truck in this morning for no power. No power to anything anywhere. He brought it in on a dolly. Not sure what the tech found wrong with it, but he tried to take it on a test drive. Only made it a 100 feet before the front wheel fell off. This was a straight truck until that happened. RIP fender.
Going to turn these into challenge locks. I may give the 2 and 3 pins to my son in law to learn on, but once he's done, I'll add pins for him. (If he shows interest) the other 2 I'm going to pin up with the security pins for myself.
My daughter and her boyfriend came over today and helped me wash the RV. he saw my lock picking gear and got really excited. So I gave him a brief tutorial on the fundamentals and told him to look up some videos on YouTube. I sent him home with a whole bunch of my beginner gear. Collections of picks that I have since upgraded, a whole bunch of tensioners, a bunch of beginner locks. But I held out on him. I kept my 1 comfort pick. There's several other ones that are similar, but this one is mine. Lol
