Will existing Tivo continue to work when Verizon cablecard support ends?

I got an email from Verizon saying that support for my Tivo cablecard was going to end - and that I should order a Verizon cable box.

While I understand that Verizon will not support cablecards for new devices, and that there will be no cablecard support if I encounter problems - is Verizon going to actively stop my cablecard from working in my existing Tivo? I have never had issues with the cablecard so I would like to just keep using my Tivo until something breaks. But I have never gotten a clear answer as to whether an functioning cablecard in an existing device will continue to work? So, is Verizon going to take action to shut off the cablecard in my Tivo?

Finding clog with hot water?

My kitchen sink is backing up. I disconnected the pvc pipes under the sink and can't find the blockage there so I assume the blockage is in the pvc pipe in the basement. The pipe in the basement under the sink is a long horizontal run. Is it possible to put hot water (not boiling) into the sink and then locate the blockage in the basement by feeling the temperature of the pvc pipe in the basement along the horizontal run? I assumed that the pvc pipe would be warm behind the blockage and cooler after the blockage. Thanks.

Can a tiny11 version be built to run Quicken?

I'm trying to find a lightweight Windows 11 virtual machine to run using Parallels 26 on my Macbook so that I can run several apps like Quicken Classic. I have a full Windows 11 vm on my system but the size is pretty large - over 65Gb. I tried the base version of Tiny11 as a vm but I found that it won't install Quicken. I particularly get an error about Internet Explorer 6 not being available. I saw that Tiny11builder will allow various portions of Windows to be included in the build. Does anyone know if Tiny11 can be built so that Quicken will install? Thanks.

After I completed and submitted my 2025 return using TT Desktop version, I got one corrected 1099b account form from Schwab. I started the amended return process. When I got to the income section and navigated to the 1099b section for my corrected account, I found that I would have to edit a large number of stock purchase entries.

I would like to know if I can just delete the 1099 data that I imported from Schwab, and then go through the import process again to get all the Schwab corrected data in the download? I also imported data from other financial institutions, but I didn't see an option to delete just the Schwab files. I would hate to have to delete all imported data just to correct one account at Schwab.

Thanks
