U1 Steel type

Does anyone actually know what kind of metal U1 watches use?

It's pretty obvious that U1s aren't using 904L or 316L steel. The bracelets feel cheap and flimsy, and they'll often leave a metallic smell on my wrist if I sweat with one, which points to 304. Unlike 316 and 904, 304 has no molybdenum, so it doesn't resist chloride pitting nearly as well. Sweat is basically diluted salt water, so it eats into the surface and releases metal ions. The nickel content in 304 probably adds to the odor too.

So my guess is that it's using 304 anyone else have a guess?

U1 OP

I got a couple of U1s from MT, and I feel like the OPs still have the condom dial despite him claiming that it was the updated one and it saying "Super Miyota." I had owned the older version that was the condom bezel, but I feel like it looks almost the same with the bezel being very thick compared to what an OP should look like. Can't tell if I'm tweaking since I no longer have the old one to compare it to.

Gimate stuck no longer working

I have tried everything: reinstalling, removing everything, just installing GMAT, installing GMAT and creator and everything along with it, used setup.exe

Tried installing the Gimate service image install patch, Gimate creator, coder, and driver. Not a single one worked; still stuck on the loading screen, so I'm permanently stuck on performance mode with fans on max.

I am using Master 16 BZH ultra 9 5090, I paid way too much money for it to work like this

Just lubed with some Krytox 205G0, and stabilizers are the same. I also only lubed the stems, not bottom housing or springs.

Just wanted to show that even Outemu switches can sound good; in total, this build cost me about 13 SGD or 10 USD without the lube and tools required to do this mod.

Some random cheap chinese keyboard kit i bought off Taobao for about 10 SGD; I think it's a clone of the CIY68 but wired.
