Please help find where the brake pad wear sensors go!!

Hi All,

Trying to replace sensors in front and rear and cannot for the life of me find their location. No video I’ve found clearly shows it and Gemini is useless. Does anyone have a picture of the front and rear locations of the sensor in relation to the pads?

2015 Jaguar XF 3.0 Supercharged

Thanks!

Can someone please show me where the brake pad wear sensors go?!

For the life of me I cannot find it and Gemini is useless. If someone has a picture to reference for the front and back I’d be grateful. I have a 2015 Jaguar XF RWD 3.0 Supercharged if that matters.

Please and thanks!!!

Coolant Leak After Repairs Done

Hi All. My wife’s 2015 XF 3.0 Supercharged has been nothing but headaches with coolant leaks. I finally mustered up the courage to do the full coolant fix: removing the supercharger and replacing the crossover pipe(?) (Connection against the firewall that connects to the engine and Y pipe. Also replaced the thermostat, water pump, water pump connection piece, and alternator.

After all of that, I drove the car and let it idle for a good while (maybe 20-30 minutes) with no leaks visible. Took it out again and even though the coolant level didn’t drop, some white smoke and burning coolant smell came from under the hood. I don’t see any visible leaks but didn’t before, either.

It must be a slow coolant leak because nothing is coming from underneath the car (the under tray is almost complete gone, another repair in the future). The only part I didn’t replace and am kicking myself for not, is the oil cooler.

Can anyone give me a suggestion on where to check for leaks? I legit spent a good 15 hours doing this work just to have a leak again. I did see signs of the crossover pipe(?)

Belt won’t stay on!!!

Hi All,

Put a new belt on the Husqvarna YTH22V46 because the belt kept slipping off and I thought maybe it was stretched out over the years. New belt on and it comes off every 3-4 minutes. I notice it’s rather loose when the blade level isn’t engaged, more so than I ever remember before. I’ve made sure I’m following the belt diagram.

Side note: it tends to pop off more so when I go over a bigger clump of grass as I mow the perimeter of my yard and work inward. Probably not the right pattern to mow but it makes sense in my head. Anyways, this has never happened when I would do this before. Any advice would save me from reinstalling the belt 15 times per mow. First set of pictures is the blade lever disengaged and the 2nd set is of the blade lever engaged. TIA!
