We're building a marketplace for authentic Kashmir-based products, everything from saffron to shawls. I don't want to get into the details just yet.
What I need from you is a name that reflects Kashmiri origin but is easy to pronounce in other languages too.
Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance!
The idea came from a simple realization: if you want to build something great, you usually need people from a bunch of different domains. A marketer, a researcher, someone from data science or AI, someone technical, someone non-technical, even legal. And most of the time, one person just doesn't have all of that. So instead of everyone struggling alone, why not have a community where you can find the right people, get guidance from other domains, and actually build together.
Based on this idea, I built a platform for it, and it's live now. We're actively looking for people to join.
The way it works: if you have an idea, you can find people with the exact domain expertise you need and build the product together. We're just the space that connects people, we don't take the product from you, we just help you find the right team. In the longer run, the goal is to also bring in investors who can look at what's being built here and invest in it.
We already have 8-9 people on board from 2-3 different parts of the world, and we're still in the early/initial phase. So if you:

Few hours ago my cousin left for her rukhsati.
She basically raised me like her own kid brother growing up. I was happy for her, I really was. But I was watching from a bit far while she hugged everyone, said her goodbyes, and I felt nothing much, just watching. Then she called me over to hug her too, and she held on longer than she did with the others.
And something just broke in me.
I’ve been numb for a while, too much has happened recently and I genuinely thought I couldn’t cry anymore, like that part of me just shut off. But I cried. Properly cried.
It hit me that my nanihal isn’t going to be my nanihal in the same way anymore. She won’t be there. A whole piece of my childhood just left with her, all those days playing with cousins who treated me like their little brother. Two of them are already married with kids of their own now, Masha’Allah. My maamu moved out and grandparents passed awah so my nanihal is khali now .Everyone and everything is just… moving forward.
