Ça fait quelques années que je me tâte à passer le concours de gardien de la paix avec pour objectif d’entrer dans la BC par la suite. Je pense être capable de réussir le concours, mais ma vue est catastrophique. Je me suis renseignée sur Internet donc je sais que la vue est un critère important. Mais j’ai eu des retours de certains qui me disaient que ça pouvait passer.
Perso, je suis pas sûre du tout. Je suis myope et astigmate, donc sans correction, je suis à -6 à un œil et l’autre je dois être à -2 même pas, donc avec correction je sais même pas si j’atteins les critères nécessaires. Je pense que ça va bloquer avec le médecin, non ?

Est-ce que vous avez des retours sur ce point là à me partager pour m’éclairer un peu plus ? Merci !

I never talk about my GAD to my employers but I just signed up with a temp agency and I had to talk about my previous experience which was literally the worst I ever had. This led me to talk superficially about my anxiety, which returned somewhat severely during, but especially after, this experience. And when she talked to me about jobs, she told me you had to be able to handle stress. I'm probably just complaining for no reason, and maybe I'm just bitter. I’ve worked in quite a few restaurants so far, where we sometimes worked up to 60 or 70 hours a week and served a huge number of tables. If I weren’t at least a little resilient to stress, I wouldn’t even be working in this business. I really feel like people misunderstand anxiety, and that's exactly why I think there's no point in being open and honest about it with certain people.

When I play zombies, no matter if I’m solo or with squad, it often kick me off the server even if my internet is good. Sometimes it say « host connexion lost, server lost ». It wasn’t happening at the beginning of the game or it was really rare but since season 4 and mostly 5, I can only play a few game from the beginning to the end.

Does anything knows how to fix it and why it always do that ? It doesn’t happen in multiplayer. Thanks

I’m having an issue installing Cold War from the disc on PS4.

I played Cold War back in 2021 on my old PS4. In the meantime, I switched to a PS4 Slim and haven’t played the game since.

Recently, I wanted to go back and play some older COD games, so I reinstalled a few of them, including Cold War. I had more than enough free storage space (around 500 GB), but while copying the game from the disc, I kept getting an error message, and the installation would always get stuck at exactly the same point.

I looked up solutions online and tried pretty much everything I could find like disconnecting from the Internet, clearing the PS4 cache, cleaning the disc with toothpaste since it had a very small scratch, etc. Nothing worked, and I kept getting the same error at the same point.

I eventually bought another used copy of the game, this time with a disc that had no visible scratches at all, but I had exactly the same problem while installing it.

So I still haven’t been able to install Cold War. Interestingly, when I reconnect my PS4 to the Internet, it offers me the game’s update file even though the game itself hasn’t even finished installing from the disc.

Obviously, I don’t want to buy a third copy of the game. I’m guessing my only remaining option would be to buy the digital version from the PS Store, but I really don’t want to pay for a game I already own on disc, especially one that came out years ago and still costs around €80.

Has anyone else experienced this issue ? If so, were you able to fix it somehow ?
