Hi! im a first time flyer and im going solo to Mexico to visit family, courtesy of my dad. My uncle wants me to bring over 2 brand spanking new, still in boxes, phones and a brand new power bank over to my aunt in Mexico. The thing is, I have heard different things about whether or not this is allowed.

I have heard I need to open the boxes, I have heard I need to take the phones out completely, I have heard I dont need to and can keep them as is... so I figured here would be my best place to get a straight answer. My uncle really, really doesnt want the phones taken out of the boxes, (which I understand why, theyre gifts.) so I'm trying to see if I can find a work around.

Any other general tips would be nice too! I'm pretty nervous about this flight.
