Im so tired of this test

I don't know what I'm doing wrong anymore. Can I still get a 1500+ in August?

I'm a rising junior, and I started seriously studying for the SAT during the summer before my sophomore year.

I've done an SAT boot camp, private tutoring, and have been studying consistently for over a year. The frustrating part is that my practice tests are usually in the high 1400s (sometimes even close to 1500), but I've taken the real SAT three times now, and every single score has been in the 1300s.

Math is what's driving me crazy. On official past tests at home, I usually miss only 0-2 questions, so I feel like I should be capable of an 800. But on the actual exam, my highest Math score has only been a 740, and on the June SAT I completely fucked it up and got a 690.

At this point, I'm honestly starting to wonder if I'm just someone who can't perform on test day. I don't know if it's nerves, timing, or something else, but the gap between my practice scores and my real scores is huge.

I'm taking the August SAT, and I really want it to be my last one. My goal is a 1500+, but right now it feels so far away.

Has anyone else been in this situation? If you were consistently scoring much lower on the real test than on practice tests, what finally fixed it? And for those of you who eventually got an 800 in Math, what made the biggest difference?

Sat vs Act

I’m trying to decide whether I should switch to the ACT or stick with the SAT.

I’ve been studying for the SAT consistently since the summer of last year. I took official SATs in September, December, and June.

My SAT RW scores have been around 600–640, and my Math scores have been frustratingly inconsistent. On practice tests, I usually score 780–800 in Math, but on the actual SAT I’ve scored 680, 740, and 690.

I recently tried an ACT practice test. The questions felt more straightforward than the SAT, but I ran short on time in English and Reading. I could generally answer the questions, but I couldn’t finish comfortably within the time limit.

For people who switched from SAT to ACT, did your reading speed improve significantly with practice, or is ACT timing pressure something that’s difficult to overcome?

Given that I’ve been studying for the SAT for about a year already, would you continue with the SAT or seriously consider switching to the ACT?

AP Calculus International Exam Difficulty

Hi guys, I know it's a bit late to talk about this, I mean a lot, but wasn't the calculus bc international exam really hard? Especially the FRQs, they were nothing like the past exams. Hope the cutoff for a 5 will be low 50s (That's what my tutor expects lol).

Not happy about the change for AP stats next year

Idk why I'm worrying about this already, but I don't like the change in AP stats next year. I think there will be some confusion over this + there is less practice materials for the new exam format. Oh I lowkey hate instableness

Hi guys im a international student which means I only have 17 hours before the exam. I really want that 5 😭😭
Like for math subjects like ap calc, if I just prep for it then it is a guaranteed 5. However, for bio even though i know all the content (hopefully?) it’s heavily dependent on reasoning and logical skills +some reading which makes it much more intimidating. Help me😭😭

I got a 48/60 on the practice test 1 and got 45/60 on the practice test 2. But I found it to be harder than the questions I solved on past papers. I felt like there were more wording tricks etc. For last year, when I took ap precalc, i completely bombed the practice tests but found the actual exam to be much easier than the practice tests which gave me a easy 5.
