How are remains returned when someone is eaten by an animal?
Reading about crocodile & bear attacks, a man-eating animal is typically hunted and then the remains of the person are identified in their stomach contents.
Are those remains then returned to the family for burial? Does the family have the option to say “no thank you, we don’t want the partially digested bits of our loved one”? What if all that’s recovered is a very small amount of tissue?
