[Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT] Took my new Sealander on a Nova Scotia adventure this week to break it in

This is my first Christopher Ward and I'm really impressed so far. I wanted to lock in on the adventurous, tool watch spirit of the piece by bringing it on a Nova Scotia family trip.

On the first day I jumped into some pretty damn cold water off the dock at Black Point, St. Margarets Bay wearing only the Sealander.

The next day I scrambled across some huge rocks against the sea wall by our rental to a small, seemingly private sandy beach and also brought this watch along for the fun (this time, I promise I wore clothes).

Overall, I had a great time with this watch. Super legible, comfortable, reliable, and just a lot of fun to wear.

[Seiko SPB317] suiting up for the happy hour meetup today

Looking forward to the Hodinkee happy hour hang out today. I met a lot of really nice people at their first event back in March. I’m bringing a buddy who will also be rocking a Seiko. Do you have any, or many IRL friends who share your enthusiasm for watches?

[Oris Divers Date] rainy day with kids means a trip to the museum

Not ideal weather for a holiday weekend, but caught a bus down and met up with a friend so our kids could run around the AMNH. I think this Oris has a lot of character. It feels like it’s always ready for an adventure, and my kiddo loves to see the movement behind the exhibition caseback.
