Props to KIUC

Upper Kapahi. We lost power for like a couple hours yesterday and that was it. When it went out I was expecting it to be out for the rest of the day at least. I was amazed when it came back on and stayed on. My auntie saw the KIUC trucks out driving around during the worst of it. It wasn’t that long ago that if you sneezed the power would be out for half a day. I know south side got it worse but I’m impressed how well the grid handled this storm. Mahalo to the workers out in the storm trying to keep the lights on!

LG dishwasher door seal retainer got ripped back

Something caught on the metal door seal retainer as the rack was sliding back and bent it back. It seems like it was glued in place, any ideas on how to reattach it? Idk what kind of adhesive would hold up in the dishwasher.

I’m considering getting some sheep, mostly for grazing and keeping vegetation in check. Our property is mostly steep hillside dominated by wedelia. There’s some decent grass on the flat areas that I keep mowed. I would prefer goats to sheep because they are less likely to eat the stuff we don’t want them to eat. Do sheep even eat Wedelia?

Edit: I meant I would prefer sheep to goats.
