Pixel 11 Pro Fold vs Honor Magic V6, torn between the two, looking for real ownership experience

Hello everyone,

I've been going back and forth for weeks between the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and the Honor Magic V6, and I've read most of the reviews and spec sheets already, so I'm mainly hoping for input from people who actually use one of these day to day, not another spec comparison.

My use case:

I need a phone that can shoot good macro photos and video of small, detailed, reflective collectible items for a side project. I also travel fairly often and want to travel light, so I'm hoping to use the phone's own unfolded screen as a stand-in for a laptop while on the road (browsing, email, basic document work), rather than carrying a computer, and without hooking it up to any external monitor.

What matters most to me, in order: durability first (I'm genuinely rough on phones and have cracked more than one), then camera quality for product shots, then everything else.

There are reports of a structural weak point around the hinge/antenna area that has shown up across a few generations of Pixel Fold.

On the Honor side, at least one outlet found real unit to unit performance variance on the Magic V6 (some units benchmarking like the previous generation chip before a replacement unit performed correctly), but the phone has otherwise held up well in independent rough-use tests, and the thin chassis power capping seems to be the main reason for the inconsistent benchmarks rather than a build quality issue. I'm not going off influencer opinions for any of this, just outlet reviews and official test data.

Questions:

Magic V6 owners: how has the hinge and inner screen held up so far with normal daily handling, drops included?

Pixel 10 Pro Fold owners (since the 11 just launched): same question, how has yours held up over time?

Anyone shooting product/macro photography on either one? Real results, not marketing shots.

Anyone actually working off the phone's own unfolded screen day to day (no external monitor), not just a quick demo?

If you had to choose again knowing what you know now, which would you pick and why?

Budget is close either way after trade-in and current promotions, so this is really about which one holds up better and serves these specific uses, not price. Appreciate any real-world input.

Thanks for reading

[WTS] Namiki King Cobra, Wildlife Collection by master Seiki Chida

Hello everyone,

I would like to sell my NOS namiki king Cobra.

https://goopics.net/i/1umefb

https://goopics.net/i/p4p2i8

https://goopics.net/i/us418f

https://goopics.net/i/62gwsb

The Namiki Yukari King Cobra was produced in 2001 as the fourth piece in what collectors designate the Wildlife Collection: a series of six limited Yukari editions issued between 1997 and 2003, each dedicated to an endangered or emblematic animal of a threatened ecosystem. The six titles are the White Tiger of Asia (1997, 300 pieces), the Panda (1998, 700 pieces), the Bald Eagle (2000, 700 pieces), the King Cobra (2001, 700 pieces), the Owl (2002, 450 pieces), and the Seahorse (2003, 300 pieces).

The decoration is signed by Seiki Chida (Also the autor of the actual Goldfish emperor). Chida deploys two technically distinct disciplines on this single piece.

The body of the king cobra rises from the barrel as a tactile sculpture; it can be felt under the finger as a ridge above the plane. The polychrome tropical foliage on the cap is also in taka, its green tones rendered through pigmented urushi layers, contrasting with the golden density of the body. The material and visual opposition between the raised cobra and its luminous burnished ground is the defining quality of this piece, and among the most technically complex single-pen achievements in the Wildlife Collection.

The king cobra holds a specific position in the symbolic registers of South and Southeast Asian cultures that shaped Japanese Buddhist iconography over centuries. The naga, the serpent deity common to Hindu and Buddhist traditions, is a figure of elemental power, protector of sacred sites and embodiment of forces that ordinary beings cannot approach. On a luxury object made in Japan in 2001, this resonance is not incidental.

The presentation is complete: original thematic lacquered cobra box, original cobra-motif Namiki ink bottle (will be empty when sending), converter, and documentation.

Finding an example of this completeness after twenty-four years is genuinely uncommon; the cobra box and cobra ink are frequently separated from the pen.

18-karat gold nib, Medium.

Limited to 700 numbered pieces worldwide.

2800 euros OBO

Price in EUR, PayPal G&S only. Shipping from France, registered tracked with insurance.
