These are 2 links pertaining to Deccan Chronicle's and The Print's articles regarding a DMK Leader saying Women Reservation to be implemented without Delimitation. The Leader is most probably TKS Elangovan. However, these 2 websites have mentioned it as EVKS Elangovan (Former Congress Leader who passed away in 2024). Why can't the names and fact be checked properly (Including PTI) instead of blindly publishing it? Proof Images in comments.

We approached a local garage in ramapuram (CHennai) to prepare my dad's 2011 Wagonr LXI MT for FC renewal. Upon inspection the following was mentioned to be worked up:

1. Some dents and scratches on 2 doors, minor dents on bonnet and boot door
2. Rust on the top part of boot door, door sill
3. Replacement of Windshield due to crack
4. the Firewall between the cabin and engine bay is rusted and some parts have small holes due to rust

is the quote reasonably priced or high? Where can i reduce and negotiate if possible? Is there any other reliable garage in chennai which does repair work for fc renewal to compare quotes?

My 6 year old Antec SMPS died and I'm trying to replace it with MSI 550w SMPS. It costs around 3800 online (mdc,vedant etc). I inquired the stock availability and price with Delta,Supreme and Oasis. Delta has quoted me 3950, whereas OASIS has quoted me 3550 and supreme is yet to reply. I know Delta (got my antec smps, pc cabinet and RAM there) is a reliable company for pc components, but i don't know that much about OASIS and supreme. Are these two good and reliable? I'm skeptical as the price difference is a lot between delta and oasis.

I tried finding the guideline value for a land from 1 April 2002 to 31 March 2003 in the tnreginet portal and I'm unable to find it as the dropbox for selecting village/town doesn't show any option except "(select)". I also tried to find it using landdeed app and there's the same problem of not finding the village or town. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?The zone is vellore, SRO is Thirupathur Joint-1.

I saw the news about 3 people getting run over by a lorry carrying an overload of ration supplies near basin bridge and 2 dying on spot this morning. After hearing one of the victim's name, i was completely shocked. He, along with my parent and a batch of officers just got transferred back to Madras High Court from Madurai after more than a year and just joined back last Monday. He was very helpful in getting accommodation, gas supplies to my parent to settle there. My other parent already works some MACT cases and from that I know how f*cked up the legal system of getting compensation, implementation of motor vehicle & traffic rules and law in order to reduce traffic accidents is in Chennai and TN. But it hits hard when someone you know becomes a victim of the same f*cked up system, knowing they stopped and waited at a red signal and that the lorry was not supposed to enter city limits at peak traffic times, and was taking an overload consignment too. Just wanted to vent out a bit as I am shocked.

This issue has been discussed a lot in lots of subs, and I have discussed about the apk hacking with a lot of people including my amma and appa, a lot of times. However, my appa downloaded an apk named "RTO E Challan" at around noon, because the dp of that unkown number had the profile picture of a person dressed like an advocate and was familiar, and he informed me about this now only. I got shit scared and immediately removed the apk file from my appa's mobile. Thankfully, it was not installed as the installation from unknown sources settings has been disabled. Just in case google playstore layum scan pannita, it says no malicious apps found and also have finished submitting a cybercrime complaint.Till now i don't think any amount has been debited.
