Inner Thoughts Are of Two Types

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Know that what occurs within a person’s soul is divided into two types:

The first: Mere passing thoughts within the soul which a person is unable to free himself from. The servant is not held accountable for these because they are beyond his ability. Allah, the Most High, said:

﴿لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا﴾

“Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.” [Sūrah al-Baqarah: 286]

The second: Thoughts which the soul accepts and feels at ease with, but which the person does not reveal to others—either out of shyness or fear—while inwardly remaining content with them. A person is held accountable for this.

📚Taʿlīq ʿalā Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (9/227).

Be careful with your ilm on Reddit.

[whether its reddit/youtube/instagram etc] It usually comes to my notice that i see my brothers and sisters in deen agreeing to someone or appreciating someone's posts and comments without checking "who they take from".

I just saw a person quite active in truedeen and muslimlounge who is quite khawarij pointing out some mistakes over someone's post and then he went on commenting his opinions( didnt even tell where he brought that info from and didnt even put any reference neither mentioned any scholar )and then the op quite agreed with him.

No! Dont take your precious ilm from anyone.

Especially those who comment on deen with only their "intellect".

Who are you speaking on deen with only your intellect?? Are books not sufficient, are shuyookh not sufficient??

Did you check the person is sufi / khariji?

No? And you even upvoted his/her post?

Just there was this one post by a person and he wrote some "beautiful" words and it turned out he follows AMJ-AHMED MUSA JIBRIL.

Posting on some unreliable subs..(for ex: traditionalmuslims etc etc)

I think we should post beneficial reliable authentic knowledge these subs( mentioned below) as well.

These subs such as traditionalmuslims( uff ).. truedeen ( weird red pill stuff ) and if i hesitate to say but yet truth should be said so salaficentral as well( again they see assim al hakeem as their "sheikh" and more such subs.

The least we could do is repost ( from telegram yt insta )the vids of mashayikh there.
