Advice and tricks for regaining speed?

I used to be a power groomer (8-10 dogs a day), but I struggle with 6 dogs these days (not all grooms). Needless to say, grooms weren’t perfect and prep was good enough when I was grooming more. I developed an anxiety disorder and had to slow down and really started to care about the quality of my work. But I’d like to work on regaining speed to go back to at least 8 dogs without sacrificing quality. Any advice or tricks?

Internal application question

If the application says “in process, under consideration,” does that mean the SL has already seen it on their end?

Any PSPs needed in any of the Minneapolis locations?

Considering relocation but trying to find the right salon with the appropriate volume that can accommodate another PSP. PM if open to transfers :) I’ve been with the company for 8 years.

Left Miami Beach, wanting to come back but god jobs are awful!

I grew up in Miami Beach and left in 2018. I would like to be closer to family for a little while so I’ve been having this urge to go back. Looking through indeed has been depressing. Even within my own industry (which I am okay leaving for the right job), is a slap in the face. Wages are awful and I see nothing but healthcare postings. How are you guys making it? Is there another job site that’s better for Miami?

Is private just the way to go?

I’ve been in corp for going on 8 years and my salary hasn’t changed. I’m at a loss. I know private can be 50/50 on whether you find a good team or not, and ofc corp benefits are great especially after a certain amount of years (I get one month of PTO). But things are getting rough out here man 😅

I hope this isn’t breaking rules as I’m not asking about pricing or discussing sales at all. Just wondering if private really does offer more financial stability in the long run

Considering moving here, but I don’t drive!

With my job, I wouldn’t be living in downtown but I don’t mind taking buses or using uber/walking (1hr or less) when needed. Is this doable? What about during winter?

I’m afraid of driving and have gotten by with the above mentioned methods. I hope to one day get over this fear but as of right now, it’s not possible and I’d need to save for a car anyway.
