Which to exchange the special holo sticker for best.

After not reaching guarantee in 2 banners now, I finally accumulated enough to exchange for the guaranteed 5* ticket but like in other games, I'm not sure if that's the best way to spend this currency since it's harder to get than the normal holo stickers. Would it be worth it to just save for the bloom exchange one or is the 5* ticket more worth it?

Finally tried doing the deed; didn't like it and felt nothing

Hellooo, first time posting in this sub! Just wanted to share my little self discovery since I'm still unsure whether I'll tell my friends about it, haha. I'm F around college age and have identified as asexual since HS and then aromantic after like 3 years ago-ish. So all in all, I'm aroace. I confirmed that I really was romance repulsed this year when someone confessed to me and sent love letters which greatly, horriblyyy disgusted me. It made me stay away from that person especially when he tried pursuing me still after telling him that I was aro.

Now cut to a few months after that, I met up with my friends and they were all very hormonal. They kept talking about wanting a gf or a bf and it heavily messed with my mind, coupled with the fact that my friend made me use an AI bot and I did actually enjoy doing smut rps using my OCs (a male OC, separate from me). Also fuck AI, I just really tried it for fun.

Anyways, it messed with my brain chemistry for awhile and I started to think that I might not be sex repulsed as I thought. Because before, I didn't get sexually attracted to anyone, found the ideas of naked bodies pressing together disgusting, found sucking or swallowing other people's body parts & fluids gross etc. All the aspects that made you ace. It was still the same thoughts but I started to think that I wanted to try it and became curious despite those feelings.

Cut to a week ago, I tried finding hookups via reddit. Dating apps didn't really work bc I found that I didn't like looking at men's pictures (I lean more on girls as bi aroace) and men looking for flings were exhausting, only sending a hello. Then here on reddit, I successfully found a guy willing to do it. He ended up being very attentive and caring when we finally met up to do it. However I found that despite liking fictional characters kiss, I actually really disliked it LMAO. The feeling is so weird, it doesn't feel good at all. It just felt like something invading the inside of your mouth, and it didn't feel as hot as people describe it. In fact it felt a little repulsive too? I think I wouldn't try kissing anyone after this anymore whether it's a girl or a guy.

Then came the actual penetration, man I really can't reach my peak at all. It felt...good somewhat? But it didn't feel any different from doing it with a toy. Doing it raw vs doing it with a condom didn't make a difference either. It was just hard to reach my peak even though the guy alr reached his twice. The guy wasn't bad either because he's had numerous experiences with girls already that apparently the girls enjoyed a lot. So it really is a me problem. I also didn't really enjoy the cuddling or the aftercare. I wouldn't say I was repulsed, I could bear with it I think. But it doesn't necessarily feel good the way other people describe it --- that they like aftercare and cuddling. It did absolutely nothing to me. Even oral did nothing to me. Nothing really worked. It just felt like ticking off something from a checklist tbh.

Overall, I think it was worth the experience for me, though I'm still mourning the loss of my money from the check in. I could finally confirm and prove to myself that sex isn't for me, and that I'd rather never ever try it again because it doesn't really do anything for me that a toy would already be able to do.

edit: Forgot the life lesson conclusion i was supposed to include 😭 but basically feel very complete now after confirming both my asexuality and my aromanticism. Finally figured out that i really am just content living alone or with my og family for the rest of my life, with cats and my hobbies.

Dating apps are so exhausting, can't fathom how allos can do it

(F) Finishing up college and I've been confidently aroace for the last few years. This year though I finally confirmed that I am indeed 100% romance repulsed because of a few happenings in my life. However, I met my long time friends for the first time in awhile and they wouldn't stop talking about wanting a gf/bf and it really messed up my mind. So I started thinking whether I wanted to try a qpr, or date someone allo and just see how it goes. So I downloaded a dating app.

I really can't feel physical nor romantic attraction to anyone still, but a few profiles still caught my eye just based on our similar hobbies. The problem was the chatting part. I'm pretty introverted and I did make sure to put that in my profile. They'd match with me, and sometimes they're the ones starting the convo. But they usually do just one liner answers based on my starter questions. So I'd initiate a more proper conversation since I do like to yap. What annoys me so much was that they never return the favor. I'd ask about their current interests, what their likes or dislikes are, what their thoughts are about this certain thing we both like etc. Then after they answer me, the convo just ends. They don't even ask about me. There was this one girl who had a description on their profile that they hated it when they reply so much to the person they're pursuing and the person they're chatting with replies dryly. So I thought, huh! Maybe they'll also reply as long as I do (I usually reply in blocks of text to show interest). Nope, I was completely wrong! She started the convo about HER current obsession, and despite me not liking that certain fandom a lot, I still tried to relate to her. Then all she sent were one sentence replies. And didn't even ask stuff like, "how about you, what are you into?"

I don't really have a certain goal for downloading this app, I mostly just want to see where it goes or find fellow aroaces (I found one and so far she is pretty conversational at least!!). But for the rest of the people I meet, it feels pretty annoying. I can understand largely now why fellow arospecs or aromantics like us don't try and pursue a QPR. Because it's so exhausting trying to cater to people, to connect with them, and then all you get are pretty bland replies. It feels like all people really chase nowadays are looks. Most of the profiles I see too don't really specify what their hobbies or interests are , even if the dating app provides a lot of templates for it. All they attach are pictures of themselves. Don't really get how people can just *click* with just looks alone, esp for online dating. It's only been a few days but I think I won't attempt to do this anymore 😭 I feel like I'm running out of social battery...

For fellow aros/aroaces with QPRs, where did you guys meet yours? I honestly just want to find someone to yap about my fandom interests in since my long term friends and I have currently different interests and I don't want to dump all my yappings on them. Or do you guys just join discord groups for your interests?? I feel so intimidated when trying to be part of a server with an alr existing friend group...

23 [F4F] LF geeky fandom girlies to yap with

Hi, hi! I'm currently finishing up my degree and I've been craving to make more friends, especially people with similar interests as mine. Unfortunately my department is full of guys, and the few girls I meet don't have the same interests as me kasi :"(

I'm aroace or arospec (still figuring it out but I'm definitely aromantic, proven and tested na huhu) so I really, really value platonic relationships a whole lot. I'd love to be casual friends or become constants if we really vibe! (I'm into the aro/ace dc server too if you're there! Inactive nga lang haha)

About Me:

-I'm into the whole fandom culture: fanfics, fanarts, animations etc. I actually don't dive deep into fandom culture that much anymore but I'm letting you know that if you're also into it, I can match the energy and yap about your favorite blorbo with you!

-In relation to the one above, I'm used to hearing my friends talk about their favorite characters or their current obsessions so I'd love to yap with you about yours if we can exchange infodumping about our blorbos

-I'm into anime, manga, manhwa, western shows and cartoons, games, webnovels, and BL. With anime I'm currently continuing Re:Zero atm.

-For manhwa, I read otome isekai and BL genre lately but I also love horror, fantasy and system-types. Some examples I loved are ORV and Debut or Die. I'm getting into korean novels lately too like Got Dropped Into A Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work

-For games, I'm not really into shooting games like Valo because of my motion sickness. I do however like visual novels like Ace Attorney and RPGmaker games like Deltarune. I like indie games a lot too but I haven't been able to play a lot lately. I also play HSR and currently fangirling over Lohen from Genshin. We can also play rhythm games like osu! but I'm only mediocre at it lol

-For western shows, I currently picked up House M.D. and I like animations like TADC.

-As you can see from my long ass intro, I don't mind yapping about your fandom culture with you talaga as long as we have the same interests! I'm actually pretty introverted (INFP) and afraid na I might turn people off so I might reply really late but I reply to every text bubble naman usually

About You

-I don't mind people younger or older than me, basta 4-5 yr age gap. If you're older than that, and you don't mind a younger person who can't relate with work talk then okay lang din huhu, I understand na it's hard to find likeminded people talaga pag work culture na

-Same interests as above! Kahit ano, as long as you're willing to yap with me about anything and willing to also listen to me infodump

-No to DDS din, same as the other posts here
