For more context. My sun conure will fly normal to the bathroom or the back room, the furthest rooms to the living room and kitchen where all her things like her cage, perches, stand post, food, water and treats are. It’s not like she hasn’t been doing this before and I’m happy that she’s getting exercise and flying time when she is out of her cage.
The problem is my conure will scream non stop until I come into the bathroom or back room. I know this is there way of calling which I do respond myself and I don’t have to worry about neighbours complaining. It’s that she’ll continue sometime to scream even if I’m at the door. I will have to sit on a couch or toilet for her to stop screaming. But when it comes to leaving those room because I was forcing on other times like chores or work, she will not come with me even when called, she does not want to be held or play games. She just wants me to sit in the room doing nothing but watch her as my conure is looking outside of the window. I would have to bribe her with treats and when that no longer works, I would have to close every room in the house.
I don’t know why she is doing this so much of late. I can’t get any work done. She seems to just want attention that I don’t know how to give. What should I do?
My bird lately is sitting (sometimes pacing) at the window. Normally she does this quietly watching the neighbours walk their dog and would only start screeching to get my attention when I leave the room or wants me to see something. But lately she’ll make clicking sounds at the glass or these little chirping noises that I haven’t heard her do before. I can’t tell if she’s bored or tired. Everything is normal other than I’ve been home more often. She’s free to fly around but I’m not her why she stays at the window regardless of which room we are in. She does eat, play and answers me if I call her name but I don’t know if this is a normal behaviour or not. Any advice would be appreciated
I’ve been away from home for the past two weeks to came back to find my home sitters not doing there jobs of cleaning up after my bunnies. The litters were emptied and they were feed and watered, the bunnies look and acting like normal, but they had accident where if cleaned up right away it would be fine. But they just left the wet poop on my hardwood floor and I’m trying hard to scrape it off but it’s not really working and it’s taking a long time to clean. If anyone can recommend any way to help clean this up would be greatly appreciative. Thank you
