Explanation of rotation sites

I have been accepted for class Erie of 2031 and was wondering how rotation sites work. Do you spend year 3 and 4 at one specific hospital? Or do you get placed in an area and have to drive distances to the rotation buildings every day? Do you only have to move twice (once for year 1+2 and then once for year 3+4)?

LECOM Erie VS BUCOM

I already have an acceptance at LECOM Erie for the PBL pathway. I also have an interview at Baptist University in Memphis in September. However, if accepted to Lake Erie and Bucom I don’t really think I would choose Bucom, so should I not go to that interview and save myself money? I would have to take off work and get a hotel. I’m also not fond of the South and my parents dislike the idea of me in Memphis, though I was raised in St. Louis so I’m not unfamiliar with areas perceived to be bad.

I’m aware Erie has a dress code, which I honestly don’t care about. I love the cold and the area looks beautiful. I’m also suspicious of BUCOM in that it has no records of residency placement yet.

I feel guilty for not crying anymore

It’s been 12 days since I had to put down my 18 year old dog and I cried every day for 7 days after. The last 5 I just feel I cannot cry anymore and I feel awful about it. I know I’m not supposed to cry every day for the rest of my life but I don’t want to think I’m forgetting about her. She was such a huge part of my life that only crying for a week seems too short

Safe parking near Amtrak

Hi all— I’m looking for a safe place to park for 3 nights near the Amtrak station. No, ubering or metroing is not an option because I am going to the station immediately after I get off work. I will not have time to drive home and uber or metro beforehand. I see a lot of mixed reviews about the Amtrak lot…. My car isn’t particularly nice, in fact it’s pretty janky so I don’t know how much of a target it would be. Is there a nearby hotel or garage I could walk from within 15 minutes? It also must be open on weekends as I will get back on a Sunday.

My dog is alone in a crematorium right now

I am 21 years old and today we put down my 18 year old who I got for my 4th birthday. We had an at-home euthanasia service come and they took her with them to be cremated. All I can think about is her alone in a container far away from me and it’s killing me. I am glad I don’t know where it’s located because I genuinely will get in my car and drive there and take her back. All I want is her ashes back or for her to be back in my house. And I’m scared the ashes will be mixed up or something and it won’t be her and I’ve really had her for the last time. This is the worst thing I’ve done in my life.
