Yo me mudé a Estados Unidos a los 10 años. Tengo mi ciudadanía y pasaporte colombianos, pero tengo residencia(green card) y licencia estadounidense. Cuando vaya de viaje de vuelta puedo usar mi licencia sin algún problema? Por lo que vi, al entrar como ciudadano y no turista se supone que no se puede.
Here’s an update to my last post about my school losing my AICE Psych Paper 2:
My school finally got back to me and said I get a free retake. However, they claim Cambridge won't reply to them beyond that and basically closed the matter.
I still feel like they're dodging accountability. Cambridge rules state that saving and submitting the test files is 100% the school's responsibility, and missing components usually trigger an investigation for Special Consideration or Center Malpractice—not just a ghosting from Cambridge.
Has anyone dealt with a school claiming Cambridge "isn't responding"? Should I report this directly to Cambridge myself at this point?
I was injured due to my sport and had surgery. Because of that I was allowed to take all my tests in a laptop. Fast forward to now and I have my grade for aice lang as aice Spanish al and not my psych. I ask them about it and they told me they cannot grade it because I didn’t save my test. I tell that that cannot be true as I saved every single one of them every day, and my scores reflect that. They also told me I used the same laptop for every test, but again that is not true because some days I could see some people’s exams saved on the laptop and others I’d see nothing. And they told me I’d have to pay for a retake. They only lost my psych paper 2, my paper 1 is intact supposedly.
After investigating further I saw that it’s the schools responsibility to save every test/file, and not the students. In this special consideration cases also, it does not make sense that I should have to pay for a retake, when it’s clearly the schools’ fault. They also told me Cambridge could not grade only a single paper but their website says otherwise. Also being able to see other student’s papers on my laptop is such a risk, someone could just modify them. Cambridge calls this school malpractice.
My school told me they told Cambridge about the situation and they’re awaiting a response, it’s been 2 weeks. I wonder what they could’ve told them.
I haven’t told any of this to my school in person, I only sent them and email but I haven’t received a reply so far. I feel I should escalate this to Cambridge, because the school is trying to put the blame on me.
What do I do?
I talked with my counselor to take AP precalc over the summer so I could do AP calc next year. She said that’s fine and instructed me how. After I requested, it said a counselor needed to approve it and it supposedly wasn’t her, so it took like a week for me to hear something back from the school administration and then it said denied due to already having it in schedule next year.
I mean duh it’s already in schedule but if I take it it’s gonna change… what do I do??
I wanna take calc ab next year, I’m a sophomore. I moved here recently and I wanna catch up to some of my friends, I’m also really good at math (straight As and 800 sat math), but when I told my counselor she denied it saying it is too much work for just 9 weeks. I talked with some friends and they said it’s a really easy class, and that it would be amazing if I did it over the summer. What are your thoughts? I can convince my counselor anyways, she said the last say is up to me.
(Posting again cause I forgot the picture lol) I was playing around with my pocket, and I didn’t have more nylon so I decided to use some shoelace. I didn’t wanna cut it, so I found a way to loop it through the outside and ended up with some coils.
Now when I throw, the feel is absolutely gone, I can no longer feel the ball release at all. I’m actually surprised the coils were able to make that happen lol. Im posting this trying to see if anyone else has ever experienced this before.
