To the girl with the white OG 3DS on the EOTI
First thing, you made my day, I love that console and the family and nice to see people still use it.
Second thing, if you made a video in 3D mode, could you share it?

I got a New 3DS XL, with a topscreen that has a circle of dead pixels, so I would like to change the screen. I am looking around Aliexpress and there are no screens or are relatively expensive. But in every seller I see available 3DS XL top screens and as I see on retrocatalog the screens are the same size.
Are they compatible and can an 3DS XL topscreen used in a New 3DS XL?
When I was preparing my travel back home, I choose a really early bus, 10:25 from Brussels North.
If I assume that 30minutes the drive from the festival to Mol train station and check the trains and give some buffer for myself, I have to leave around 7:30.
So my question, when does the first shuttle bus leave from the festival on Monday morning?
I had bought a year ago an used N2DSXL, I modded it and in half year it started to switch on-off by itself. I read somewhere the problem can be the top screens ribbon cable (and it had some visible breaks). So I bought a new touchscreen and botton screen (there were some issues with them too), a new top screen and a new shell.
Some weeks ago at my workplace with good equipments I did the reshelling (the top screen was really a mindfucking thing).
I tried to put back everything to its original place, the hinge is still not perfect and I have to find the right angle to push ~0,5mm further.
So back to the topic, I clicked everything back together and I get the issue described in the post. I read that means it cannot go over the startup test and some ribbon cable could be damaged.
Does your experienced eyes see something?
My idea is that the 2 small ribbon around the top screen connector are not connecting (I popped up the latches, did not read fully the guide and in my experiences these are usually poppable). If they can be the problem, can they be fixed without soldering? Like with kapton tape or something.
