open.spotify.comanybody else looking forward to Coyote vs. ACME next month?
So, I have been anticipating this movie since 2021, way back when it was still filming during covid. I think the whole premise is genius! I am forever thankful that it was purchased by an independent studio and will actually be viewed by audiences now. The whole CvA crew poured their heart and soul into this project.
I really have no clue which way this movie will go, stats wise, however there is some legitimate buzz and hype for Coyote vs ACME and the Looney Tunes in general atm, so hopefully that translates well in August.
Surely it'll do better than TDTEBU haha.. maybe it could garner a similar status like 'Obsessions' or 'Backrooms'?
25 Years Ago Today, Aaliyah Released Her Final Studio Album: Is It Her Best Work?
mensjournal.comWhat are your opinions on Alicia Keys' music post Girl on Fire era?
Let's try this again. So, as a later fan, it was a bit disheartening reading through the recent thread on Alicia's "iconic albums'.
Alicia is an independent artist currently and she may have switched her style around, however she still has a divine passion for all things music and has continued to drop some wonderful pieces over the years, even after 2012 haha.
She really put on display her versatility with her eelf titled ALICIA from 2020. It was a delicious blend of R&B, house, reggae, folk, soul, pop.
My personal favourites are the very house, funk driven track 'Time Machine' from her self titled album ALICIA in 2020.
Another song of hers that I'm still dissapointed wasn't a huge commercial smash "In Common" from 2016. It was a different style for her, but it worked.
What are some of your favourite Alicia Keys' songs from 2012 onwards?
rule #1, you have to play CUNTISSIMO to have fun. 😇
this is like the equivalent to when Zayn departed from 5 Harmony 🤧
Do you think the Orange Islands arc was an integral part of the anime?
I know many fans tend to shrug off this arc, mainly due to the absence of Brock, the non traditional Gyms battles, and the abadoned GS ball side plot.
However, I still feel the Orange Islands was a breath of fresh air for the franchise and slowly planted the seeds for the upcoming Johto.
Even the "slice of life" type stories were an intriguing watch, like with the island of only pink Pokemon, the search for crystal onix, the kabuto eclipse etc.
This arc really did contain a lot of important character progressions for not just the humans but the Pokemon aswell. Huge one being Charizard making peace with Satoshi (Ash). That was a long time coming.
Others include the 2nd ever centric episode around Meowth, Lapras joining main 6, Ash battling Prima, the first showing of 6 on 6 Pokemon battle, Misty's Poliwag, Ash and Misty's tested friendship, Togepi's secret attack set, Squirtle's pride, Tracy's Scyther, Golduck, Dragonite, Lickitung, Snorlax's capture, Lugia's debut, and more.
