Huge Opae Ula EcoSphere in NYC

I saw this exhibit a few years apart at the National History Museum in Manhattan. The shrimp were sealed inside since 1999 has anyone else seen it before?

More babies on the way

This tank has been established for ~9 years and they’re definitely reproducing.

GW-BX5600CBG-2JR arrived from Japan today!

Loving the watch so far. I’m so glad it fits my 8.5” wrist. The display is amazing and easy to read. The band is surprisingly comfortable for coming from recycled fishing nets.

21 years old Casio G-Shock, still holds charge and connects to WWVB

Holding a charge and still successfully hunting down a 60 kHz longwave radio signal from Colorado after more than two decades on the move is an absolute testament to how incredibly well-engineered those early solar-atomic G-Shocks are!

Flight from Tampa to Seattle

This is the dose flying from Tampa, Florida to Seattle nonstop. Pretty cool you can actually see the spectrum change on the RC103 during descent as the air density increased. It was interesting to see an annihilation spike as well.
